We had a wonderful time on this outing to Costa Brava. Our guide, Vincent, was excellent! We were picked up at our hotel as planned. Joaquin the driver was great! Vincent was humorous, friendly, attentive, considerate, and very knowledgeable. We would highly recommend him. Tossa de Mar was beautiful and well worth seeing. In addition, Vincent recommended a lovely beach side restaurant for a great lunch. He really made an effort to show us a great time and more than succeeded! Bring swim wear if you want to dive into the Mediterranean. The boat portion of the tour was wonderful. Seeing the coast line of Spain was simply beautiful!

This tour was basically a private taxi ride, that cost $$$. I specifically asked for an English speaking tour guide but the tour guide didn’t speak English that well to point that we couldn’t understand him most of the time. We did not have a walking tour of Tossa Del Mar, he basically told us some restaurants and left us to be on our own. He is very knowledgeable but in Spanish. I would not do this tour again. It was a waste of money for a non-guided tour of the coastal city.

David was a wonderful guide and driver. As a native Catalan, he knew a ton of history about the region and was very engaging with everyone on the trip. We really enjoyed the conversation and the views were amazing. Tossa is a place I would really like to come back to visit in the future!

My family of five (teenage boys) had a great day with Rodrigo, our guide. We explored several areas of Costa Brava, including a castle, two old villages, and one beautiful beach. Rodrigo was awesome. He was warm and low-key, helping us navigate comfortably (air conditioned van, walking with us, helping us buy tickets, helping us find food) and great fun to talk with. His son Mateo joined us for the day, which also made things warm and fun. Overall, a great day, and a very good way to see Costa Bravo.

10/10 recommend this Costa Brava tour! We have to say that without our amazing tour guides, Rodrigo and Tala, the day would not have been the same, it felt like we were exploring Costa Brava with our friends. We started the day with a boat ride, got to explore the Tossa de Mar area and then ended the day at a breathtaking beach recommended by Rodrigo and Tala. Truly, a day we will never forget! Really liked getting out of Barcelona for a day and seeing some beach towns and medieval villages. Great lunch in Torrent. Rodrigo, our guide, was fun, easygoing & flexible. Small group of us-8 people total. A nice trip overall!

Horrible service

If I could give this tour zero stars I would. What absolute horrible service. After specifically booking this tour for the hotel pickup, I was informed the morning before that my location wasn't possible for pickup. I then conceeded and went with one of the alternate pick up locations meaning I had to travel to get there. After specifically asking where and when to meet and getting there at the requested time, NO ONE came to pick me up. Called, sent multiple messages and even tried contacting through the viator app without any response although I could see that someone was reading my messages. After over an hour of waiting without any responses, I ended up leaving. Such a horrible experience and would definitely recommend caution when booking with these people. Simply HORRID!!!!

DO NOT book this trip! I have used Viator for several experiences while traveling before but I have never had such an awful experience before. My friends and I booked this experience and traveled to Spain and we were excited to be taken around by an English tour guide who would be able to take us around the area since we have never visited. Except our English tour guide never showed up! We were in Costa Brava struggling to figure out what happened to our tour and where our guide was for hours. Other tour companies tried to help us figure out what was happening too but no one understood what was going out and why our guide wasn't there. When the In Out office finally opened and I was able to call them, they weren't able to offer me an explanation for what happened at all. The customer support representative told me that he "didn't want to talk about money right now" when I asked for a refund due to our service not being received at all. I told him our English tour guide never showed up but he said since we got a driver (our driver was a kind man but he didn't speak English and he was completely in the dark on what his role was besides driving us to the beach), that we should be "grateful". I was completely appalled that they were not understanding or apologetic. We did not receive a tour from our English tour guide, which is the entire service, and even now no one has reached out to me despite me following up about this multiple times. I am so upset with this entire experience, we lost out on upwards of $600 and never got an explanation of what happened. We will NOT be booking with Viator again.

Awesome day in Girona & Costa Brava

The Costa Brava Girona small group by accident tour ( not our original boat tour one due to their boat guy’s illness & the tour company called and offered either a refund or a different tour and we chose the new tour) with Manu and he was awesome! He was attentive, let me shop in a specialty chocolate shop Rocambolesc, unique, the chopped corn nuts in a chocolate ball was good. He took us to a medieval town called Peratallada in which we have never been to and it was beautiful! Had a wine tasting at Vice…my husband loved his white vermouth, orange and bitters drink, I liked the gelato. Oh, we purchased a small salami, tasty. Next stop was costa brava, we ate at Tonys, the best ever, and I mean ever Aged Serrano Jamon croquettes! The sea bream was perfect, nice flavor, not super firm and not soft, it was awesome. I’d come back to Spain just to go to Tony’s! Overall, Manu (Manuel) was a perfect host and we had a great time with him and never felt rushed. He made sure we were comfortable with little rest breaks. Hey, his pics of us came out great! Highly recommend this tour with Manu!

We had a wonderful time on this outing to Costa Brava. Our guide, Manu, was excellent. He was humorous, friendly, attentive, considerate, and very knowledgeable. We would highly recommend him. Tossa de Mar was beautiful and well worth seeing. In addition, Manu knows a great, more private and stunningly lovely beach town for a great lunch. Restuarant choices included a more casual spot on the beach, or a classy, lovely restaurant overlooking the beach (which we did). He really made an effort to show us a great time and more than succeeded!

Our Guide Manu Was Fantastic From Start To Finish This Trip Was Amazing The Things We Got To See We’re Incredible! Manu Was So Nice And Fun And Informative. Our Small Group Were From All Over The World And Wonderful And Nice People The Boat Ride Was So fun ! We Arrived To A Little Beach Town With A Castle There We’re Shops And Restaurants My Wife And I Skipped The Castle Had A Snack And Drink At Restaurant That Was Wonderful . My Wife And I Highly Recommend This Tour ! We Would Love To Come Back To This Beach Town Which Is A Hidden Piece Of Paradise! We went on this excursion while Barcelona. Our guide picked us up at our hotel and drove us to a town about an hour and thirty minutes away. We too a boat ride along the coast to Tossa de Mar. The beach was beautiful. We walked to what was a village that had a big wall surrounding it. The views got better as we walked up to where a castle once stood. There is a lighthouse there now. The restaurants in the area we very busy and people every where. We had a great time, and I would highly recommend it. We are actually considering spending a week or so in that area next summer.
