The selected time is your entrance time to the Black Madonna, not the departure time from Barcelona. Please plan your journey from Barcelona so you arrive at Montserrat before your reserved entrance time.
What to Bring Bring: a valid ID or passport to have your tickets validated. Bring your fully charged smartphone and your best headphones to get the most out of the audio guide.
When choosing a time to visit La Moreneta, keep in mind how long it takes to get to Barcelona and the climb up to the monastery. Plan ahead and take the train at least 1.5 hours before your reserved time to ensure a smooth visit.
Not permitted Both men and women must wear modest clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. It is prohibited to enter the monastery wearing flip-flops. It is prohibited to take photographs with a flash, tripods, or selfie sticks inside the basilica. It is also prohibited to take photographs during services at the monastery. It is prohibited to enter the basilica during worship services unless you are participating in them.

We really enjoyed our day at Montserrat. We bought the tickets here and the experience was smooth and easy. They were communicative about the time to see the Black Madonna and we received our tickets very quickly after booking. I was impressed and happy with the whole experience from start to finish. It was a fun day doing something outside of the city.

My parents, my wife, my three early 20’s daughters and a friend of theirs loved this. We will be able to keep the memories of our trip alive by learning to cook some of the dishes we had on our visit. 100% would recommend as a MUST do on your visit.

We were really looking forward to the class. I couldn’t give this cooking class a high mark as we went to meet the chef and no one was there. I called the company and they apologized but said they had sent me a message several weeks ago to reschedule. I searched in my messages and didn’t find a message. The person I spoke with was very nice and gave me instructions on what I needed to do. My refund was completed timely. We were disappointed but their customer service was very good. I wish they had followed up when I didn’t respond to their initial message.
