Antonio was fantastic, communicating the meeting point in advance. He had a great itinerary planned and allowed us to adjust time in each area on the tour, allowing more time where we wanted it. His English was clear, his driving was safe, and he had a depth of knowledge on the history and other aspects at each stop. Would definitely use again.

The Alpine views and snowy peaks were lovely and we had one of the best meals on our trip at a local spot nestled in the mountains that we were dropped off at! This tour is quite a commitment, however, due to the amount of driving involved from Barcelona - much more time than we anticipated, but it’s the only way to get there (no airports or trains go to Andorra) and the van was comfortable. Most of what we saw was while driving and a few brief spots for pictures. We didn’t get to stroll through any medieval towns or walk any suspension bridges as pictured, but, to be fair, the itinerary seemed limited/fluid due to the daylight hours we had in mid-November. We did walk around a 8th century church that pretty cool tho. Those going during different seasons would likely have a different experience. I would recommend to those going to do some research on Andorra and chat with Antonio about the specific itinerary prior to make sure you don’t miss anything you want to see or see pictured with the tour.

Thanks for this review. It is not a secret than Andorra is 3h from Barcelona. Maybe a little bit less if you don't start from the Barcelona center and don't stop on the way. Anyways much less drive than in the 3 countries in 1 day.
In this daytrip in particular, there was a family with a couple of member celiacs and the lunch time took us 1h30 min in your restaurant.
As you said in this season days are shorter and sus sets about 5.30 am in Barcelona (even a bit before that in the mountains).
The andorra old towns are not medieval because most of the oldest houses are from 17th century or newer (most of the andorra construction is new). The only medieval buildings in the country are the 32 oldest churches romanesque and prerromanesque and a medieval bridge.

If you’re wondering whether to book this excursion, don’t hesitate because this trip was well worth it! Antonio knew all the most beautiful places to stop for postcard-like pictures, and he and the driver were more than accommodating. My husband and son are both celiac, and he made sure we got to a restaurant that was gluten free during the trip. I would highly recommend this trip to see the quaint towns in Andorra!

Wonderful journey and experience with Antonio. He was knowledgeable, patient and gracious. I was traveling solo and we got along great. He took me to a coffee shop for breakfast on the way and to one of the best lunch spots in Andorra where the staff all knew him.
He's been traveling to Andorra since he was a kid and knows all the ins and outs on what to see.
It's a 100% worth doing the day trip from Barcelona and checking this little jewel of a country off your list.

Antonio gave a very personalized tour, stopping wherever and whenever I wanted and explaining everything along the way. He took me to the places that had just what I was looking for and got medication for me from a farmácia when it was obvious I needed something. His English is quite good, though accented, with excellent grammar and vocabulary that allowed us to talk on a wide variety of topics, from local customs, history, and government to international politics. An 11 hour trip with every minute enjoyable!

We had a fabulous time with Antonio! He was such a great resource of information and history. We not only enjoyed ourselves tremendously but we learned so much about Andorra and Spain. He was on time and very accommodating. We had lots of amazing stops, including great food recommendations and cultural insights. We highly recommend going on a short hike along the Route d’Incles in the summer. It was a great way to break up the trip and get some steps in! Very easy short hike along an beautiful river (although the paths were rocky and not paved on the right side of the Riu, so if you want it to be all paved you can just go out and back on the left side). He was very giving of his energy and the passion for his craft and care of his clients. Highly recommend this tour to Andorra! Thanks so much Antonio!

Antonio offered detailed insights into what was an unknown country for us. First time seeing old town Andorra, modern Andorra La Vella and surrounding towns an unforgettable experience. Antonio made recommendations for reasonably priced quality snacks. He ensured our dietary requirements were catered for by artisan chef creating traditional style meals from local ingredients. Definitely recommend.

The country is beautiful and the architecture is amazing. The locations Antonio showed us were breathtaking. My wife has mobility issues and Antonio was very patient with us. His knowledge of the history, especially his remembrance of dates, was amazing and highly appreciated. I would recommend him to anyone who would like to know everything about Andorra and the surrounding areas in less than a day!!! We really enjoyed this trip. Thank you for an excellent adventure!!!!!

We hoped to see some nature and saw so much more! Snow-capped mountains with the fall colors was a real treat. Antonio adjusted our route through France in order to help us capture that scenic view and also stopped for us to get snow photos. We added on a short hike and a visit to the statue and panoramic view featured in this listing's cover image, and ended the trip perusing an outdoor market at the major urban center. Super appreciate Antonio's consideration, knowledge, and flexibility!

If you're short on time but want to see a lot of a different country in a day then this trip is a definite must. Being in a private car means you are taken to places buses can't get to, and get a local experience.

Antonio was a wonderful tour guide to Andorra! He took us to a variety of sites in this small country, including shopping / dining, historic areas, and beautiful vistas. He was kind enough to pick us up near our home, and even advised us on the best way to travel to the airport the next day. The country of Andorra is spectacularly beautiful and well worth the drive from Barcelona. This has been one of the highlights of our trip to Spain.

Antonio Falcon was our driver and guide. It takes about three hours to get to Andorra but it is oh so worth it, and Antionio makes the time pass quickly with his narration and knowledge of the area. He made several excellent suggestions for places to visit and where to eat. Andorra is an idyllic location in the mountains. The scenery is spectacular. A definite place to visit and experience!

Antonio was a wonderful tour guide - and this was such a wonderful way to see such a unique country.
First off, Antonio was super knowledgable about Andorra, the people, what it's like to live there, and knew all of the great spots to see, take pictures, etc. He was also super pleasurable, and his car was super clean.
My friend and I were able to customize the tour based on how we wanted to see Andorra (we even got a passport stamp!) - and we were able to see the whole country (plus a little bit of Spain and France) in one day. Highly, highly recommend Antonio and his tour.

Gorgeous views during the drive. The guide was super knowledgeable and able to answer the 100's of questions the other tour guest asked without any exhaustion. He was really friendly and helpful. He took is to a closed restaurant for a private traditional anndoran meal that was so delicious. The drive is long, but filled with lots of cute small towns and mountains.
