This is a perfect introduction to Maori culture. We went on our very first day in Aetaroa, New Zealand. The program is enlightening in how to be respectful of sacred spaces, people and customs. This is not simple entertainment, even though it is entertaining, but an authentic and beautiful cultural experience. Do not miss this opportunity.

One of the warmest and most genuine cultural experiences I’ve seen anywhere in the world. As they said, they’re not there to entertain us, but to welcome us and give a sense of the Māori culture.

Highly over rated . Quite boring . Even though the two ladies and gentlemen were quite good . The content was not interesting enough. Also fail to understand why photographs without flash cannot be acceptable .

Wouldn’t recommend. Show went less then the allocated time. There wasn’t a Haka as advertised. No real Māori’s in the show. Even after the show the dancers had attitude when dealing with the guests.

I don’t think you can visit Auckland without experiencing the war museum. We learned a ton about more culture about the geological aspects of New Zealand and interacted with some very friendly and knowledgeable locals.!

The museum is excellent and well worth a visit. The Māori cultural experience was interesting and the costuming lovely. It was about 30 minutes. I would have liked more explanation about the culture and its history. This experience focused on welcome and inclusion.

Not what I was expecting. About 10 minutes of music and dance and about 20 minutes talking about their culture. I really wanted to see a haka. They performed a very abbreviated one.

An authentic Māori experience live on stage. The artists demonstrated their culture while at the same time made sure to give their audience the details and the background of their performances and culture. A must see!
