I highly recommend this tour to get an overview of great ideas that started in Athens. A lot of information was provided in a very interesting and accessible way.

I joined the philosophical walking tour in Athens led by Lampros and it became one of the most thought-provoking experiences of my trip. As we walked the paths once taken by Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, our conversations about ancient wisdom naturally led to reflections on AI and the future of human reasoning. Lampros has a wonderful way of connecting timeless philosophical questions with today’s technological world. If you ever visit Athens, I highly recommend this tour. It’s a unique blend of history and reflection about the future of humanity and AI.

A wonderful tour that was engaging and thought-provoking. Lampros, our tour guide, was friendly and inspired. A lovely little jaunt through time and the human mind.

This wasn’t just a history lesson; it was a journey inward. We explored how reason, reflection, and awareness—core philosophical principles—can align with the tools of psychology to help us better understand and heal the self. By the end, I felt both intellectually enriched and emotionally renewed.

Great insights on the different schools of philosophy while “being there”… walking the same paths as Socrates, Platon and Aristotle's made our visit to Athens feel special.
Time elapsed too quickly…

Our guide was fantastic , super friendly and knowledgeable. He shared the ideas of Ancient Greek philosophy and integrated this with showing us the symbolic sites and places .

Meeting Lampros, our guide, was easy as he shared his location with me in WhatsApp. He ensured our comfort at all times in the heat, chosing shady spots to impart information to us. The tour was really enjoyable & showed the importance of free thinking and the development of ideas. I shall certainly be trying to apply some of what I've learned in everyday life. I'd absolutely recommend it.

This is an exceptional know yourself philosophical tour conducted by Lampros..
It's essence lies in the fact it captures the heart of what Athens stood for.the birthplace of philosophy, individual reflection, stoic and socratic thinking.
Lampros goes above and beyond to take you through a journeying of the self and also a journey of the old souls like Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and the likes, their lives and their influence on Greek culture, the world n psychology and philosophy.
Chuck the instagram friendly pics. Take the real deal!!

We recently enjoyed a Private Philosophical Tour in Athens, and it was easily one of the most memorable experiences of our entire visit. Our guide, Lampros, was outstanding — his depth of knowledge and genuine passion for philosophy made every moment fascinating. This tour wasn’t just about sightseeing; it was an inspiring journey into the heart of philosophy and the spirit of Athens itself!

A must-do for all in Athens. Lampros (the guide) is very knowledgeable and passionate. The tours are both inspiring and educational.

I have attended many historical and city walking tours over the last 6 months, however none compare to this philosophy walking tour of Athens with Lampros. This is truly one of the best tours I’ve ever had the privilege of joining. I recommend it is the first thing you do as it will give you a greater appreciation for the sites of Athens and the contributions the Ancient Greeks have made to western civilisation. We were three people my son who is 17, my husband and myself. Lampros is so warm, engaging and knowledgeable. He really meets you at your level and we all enjoyed it equally. The tour was incredibly organised and well paced. It didn’t feel rushed at all but we covered so much content and we visited so many sites in our time together. We took the tour in May and the weather was perfect, however even if booking in summer there are regular breaks and Lampros chooses wonderful shady spots to sit and chat and watch short videos to emphasise and really cement the concepts we have discussed. So much is really added to the experience by standing and sitting and walking in the actual footsteps of the greatest philosophers who ever lived. It was so moving! I have done a few philosophy subjects in University many years ago and am inspired to take It up again as a regular practice as it can really help us to zoom out and consider the bigger picture. I don't want to give too much away! (As an aside Lampros also gave us the great tips for rooftop bars and things to do in Athens like the open air cinema. We took his advice and went to one of his top tips and had the most delicious lunch straight after the tour...ask him about the place with the meatballs ;-) We did the tour on our last day and we did not have enough time to visit many more of his recommended local places so do this trip as soon as you practicably can on arriving is my advice!)

I am glad that I chose this trip in Athens. It is the most interesting trip I have ever encountered. Lampros took us to walk in the most charming streets and monuments in Athens, and told us the stories of ancient Greek philosophers and many other interesting histories, including many psychology stories, which inspired our thinking. Lampros was also very kind to help our children in wheelchairs along the way. My advice is that you must not miss Lampros's course in Athens, the hometown of philosophy.

Lampros was an amazing guide for this tour. He is a professional who is highly educated in Philosophy and Psychology and is passionate about how all these theories and beliefs tie into Athens. Along the way, he also stops to show other monuments and prominent statues that are relevant to ancient Athens. He connected with us on a personal level, learning our interests and having open discussion. The entire tour was incredibly insightful and with beautiful views. 10/10 recommend!

My son said "This is the best store I've ever been on, by far!". Lampros was amazing. He showed us all these incredible sites and explained to us their significance so well. He was a fountain of information for those of us in the group that knew a lot about philosophy and also for those of us in the group that didn't know much. It was absolutely the most perfect tour. We highly recommend!

Lampros was an excellent guide. Very informative, ineractive tour that not only explored the philosophy of ancient Greece but also the history of the many monuments we walked by. Would gladly join this tour again to learn more and continue the conversation with Lampros!

Lampros is a breath of fresh air. He is passionate, genuine, and caring. He has done the work to educate the masses about the plethora of philosophers who have impacted the world. I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to become a person.
Silvia_P, Jul 2023
Lampros was very nice since the beginning (even though we were a bit late) and showed us places that you may not even notice while walking on your own around Athens. The deepness of the explanations will vary depending on how interested in the subject you are, but it is worth it to ask him everything you may know to end up having meaningful conversations about stoicism, the myth of the Cave or epicureism. There was also good audiovisual content that helped us get some extra information!
Geneve_J, Jul 2023
I had a very personalised tour of the history of Athens. I was captivated with Lampros’ ideas of philosophy and psychology through his incredible storytelling, usage of videos to describe the philosophical ideas and making our way to important landmarks by foot. It has made me want to learn more about the subject. I would highly recommend!
