Ted(Theodore) was amazing! So knowledgeable, friendly. He gave us of the background, history and the meaning of all the sites. The food we had for lunch was fabulous! Every aspect of our tour was spectacular! Book Ted and you won’t be disappointed!

Ted gave us a very good tour of Athens within a four hour time frame. He was well versed in history and passionate about the area and took us places we would have never found on our own. He adapted it very well to our interests and abilities to access areas. Spent a great half day with him in the extraordinary city. We would call on him again for not only a tour but other arrangements in Athens and the area!

We truly enjoyed the experience and our driver Andreas was outstanding. He kept us on time and was incredibly knowledgeable about each attraction. The lunch at the end was also very good, traditional Greek food.

This was a great tour. Ted our guide was prompt and polite and knowledgable about the city and stops we made. He was not able to go into the Acropolis with us as he was not a licensed tour guide but it was still an amazing site and by this time on our cruise we had seen plenty of ancient ruins and we could go at our own pace to visit the site without having to hear about each spot in the Acropolis. If you want to hear the details and specifics of the ruins you should do a tour with a licensed guide but Ted was perfect for our needs. He allowed plenty of time fro pictures and free time at the Acropolis. He took us to a restaurant that served authentic Greek food and all four people in our group agreed this was the best Greek food we have ever tasted. After the tour he dropped us off at our request to do a little shopping in a different area of the town and we had the option of paying him to extend the tour or getting an Uber/taxi to take us back to the cruise ship. We opted on the Uber as to not have him just sit and wait in the van and we had no problems at all after the recommendations he gave us. He was also flexible with the tour start time and we left earlier than scheduled as to "get ahead" of the larger groups in the city and this was very helpful. Communication was easy through Viator and his personal Whatsapp account.

Ted was a great tour guide. He’s from Athens born and raised, and he took my mom and I to all of the really cool local places. We had gyros at a local neighborhood restaurant, and it was so fun! Ted also was very helpful, my mom has trouble getting around and he always offered to help her get out and in the van, along with carrying anything. He also took pictures, and was great at it! He met us at the arrival port for the cruise and he was just great. He even went out of his way to take me to where Giannis grew up playing basketball. That was not included but so generous and an amazing time I’ll never forget!

Ted was an incredible find. He was courteous and shared a ton of knowledge about the locations he took us to. He had our site tickets ready so we could skip those lines, cold water in the vehicle, and picked a delicious lunch spot. He was also super helpful for our friends whose luggage was lost by Lufthansa. Ted helped make calls and spoke to the agents on their behalf so they didn't have to try and translate. Anyone coming to Athens needs to book a tour with Ted and Athens Experience. Thank you for a terrific day!!!

Ted really packed a lot into our one day in a Rome prior to leaving on our 14-Day Cruise of the Mediterranean. We saw the Acropolis, Chapel of St George at Mount Lycabettus (tallest of the seven hills), Temple of Olympian Zeus plus the Changing of Presidential Guards. He was friendly and informative. So glad we found him for our one day in Athens.
