A wonderful experience!

What a great experience! Our driver met us promptly at the cruise port and maneuvered through traffic to ensure we made it to the Acropolis in time for our timed entry. We purchased our tickets ahead of time, as recommended, so there was no waiting once we walked up to the entry point. The drivers dropped us off and picked us up at the promised time, giving us plenty of time to explore this beautiful piece of history. After, they drove us to see the changing of the guard at the Presidential mansion and the first modern Olympic stadium. We then drove to Cape Sounion to visit the Temple Of Poseidon, stopping for lunch along the way at a restaurant called Mapida - the food was authentic and sooo delicious!!! I HIGHLY recommend taking this tour to Cape Sounion. It was atop a hill and not as crowded as the Acropolis was, giving us plenty of time with this monument. The only thing I would suggest was for the driver to be able to share a bit of the history as we were driving to these places to allow those in our party to hear some of the history from a local. I highly recommend this tour - they were very friendly and helpful, and got us to the sites before tour groups and got us back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Thank you!!

I LOVED this tour! Demetrio was amazing - was prompt and had us at the monument sites well before the tour groups started to arrive. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, showed us all the sites of ancient and modern Greece that were listed, and brought us to a great restaurant for lunch. The Parthenon was amazing and visiting the Temple of Poseidon is something I don't think I will ever forget. It was breathtaking and again, we made it there before the four tour buses, making it as if we were the only people there. We were brought back to port in plenty of time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is even remotely thinking about it - it was a tour we will not forget! It was worth every penny.
