Carolina our guide was fun and informative about the lesser known areas of Athens and it's wonderful food.
Not only did we learn a lot about different foods but we tasted lots of delicious and varied items. I would highly recommend this tour, it may seem expensive but you don't need to eat for the rest of the day afterwards!!
We really enjoyed the tour, and our guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the food, culture, and history, and was professional, courteous, and friendly throughout.
The food was good, but our only suggestion would be to include more classic Greek specialties such as Greek yogurt, olives, Greek salad, and moussaka, as these are some of the dishes visitors most look forward to trying in Greece.
We forgot to leave a gratuity and were unable to reach our guide afterward. If there’s a way to pass a tip along to him, we’d greatly appreciate it.

Natali took us to best locally-owned restaurants. The food was all delicious! Without fail all food was made in family-owned restaurants, and many of the recipes handed down over time. As well, we learned some Greek history along the way.
Good connection with the guide; great food; local view of the city; that is, locals were eating at these places, and start the tour with an empty stomach.
An experience you will not forget, Golden and Constantine took us through the foods of the Plaka district with a deep understanding of Greek culture and culinary history. We even experienced an olive oil tasting. What a treat! We are so grateful for the experience.

Excellent, comprehensive introduction to Greek/Athenian food, culture and history. Come prepared to eat a lot! (There was slightly too much food for me, although we were able to ‘take-out’ what was left over. Natali, our guide, was interested, interesting, informed and fun. We were a small, intimate group, and I enjoyed getting to know the others over the five hours we were together.

Constantine was an incredible guide! His knowledge of Athens and the neighborhood made the experience exceptional. The food was magnificent, the wine yummy and the portions enough to put you to sleep for the afternoon! Delicious. Educational, fast paced and extremely amazing! He’s so well versed in food culture and really adds a regional focus to the tour. Definitely do this! Great neighborhood and follow up with the Acropolis late day!

This was our second time on this tour. The first was an afternoon tour and this time a breakfast/ lunch tour. We were lucky to get Carolina both times as our guide. You get some history, great exercise, and an array of wonderful food on the tour. It’s just fun and tasty. We look forward to the next one!

Single best tour we’ve ever taken in all of Greece! Constantine is a pro! So knowledable about Athens, he shared his passion for food, culture, arts, backstrreets and took us to authentic places that we would never have discovered no matter how much research. Constantine was the perfect guide. Thoroughly explained the cultural and historic reasons for the food we enjoyed on the tour but in an entertaining manner which was greatly appreciated. It was not a lecture but rather an explanation of the food. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in exploring this areas food!

Constantine gave us so much information and love of the Greek Culinary Food. Enjoyed each stop and all the dishes that were served to us. He was so interesting and gave us his love of the Greek Culture. This was the best tour yet!! Loved it!!
This tour with Konstantinos was a real highlight of our time in Athens. He was extremely knowledgeable, warm and friendly. The food was amazing and we re-visited a number of vendors that we went to on the tour. Such a great day.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but in this tour, the guide treated us to historical insights of Greek food while we ate a full size souvlaki, had olive oil tasting, and two sit down meals. There was wine and mistiha liquor in every other stop There was a bakery and unfiltered Greek coffee stop. We were happy and full especially for those of us not used to liquor. We tasted kolivo too. I did the October 21 morning tour. Our guide was the best!
