This was an amazing experience. Our guide took us on a tour that we will long remember. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and passionate about the Acropolis.. It was perfect the perfect private tour.

We had a guide named Ioanna today.
She was the worst guide I have had on any viator tour anywhere.
She seemed to be in a big rush to be rid of us. The two hour tour was done in 1.5 hours and she tried to be done with it in an hour by saying she could show us the rest of the interesting things from the top and we could leave on our own.
She walked way ahead of us and seemed very uninterested in being there.
As soon as we got to the exit she said- ok we are done. See you later and turned around and walked away.

We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience. The tour guide was at the meeting point at 8:30, while you arrived almost 20 minutes late and waited at the wrong location instead of the clearly stated meeting point mentioned in the instructions.
The tour was completed at 10:40, lasting exactly two hours. During this time, the guide thoroughly explained all seven monuments, just as described in the tour details, and made sure to ask if you had any questions after each stop.
Furthermore, she made an effort to interact with you, showing you reconstructions of the monuments in the past,took photos for you, and after the tour was completed at the final monument, she accompanied you to the exit, thanked you, and politely greeted you.
Once again, we are sorry that you felt dissatisfied, though we must admit we are quite surprised, as this is the first time we have received such feedback regarding any of the licensed guides who collaborate with our office.

Good tour. Knowledgeable guide. If I had my time again Im not sure I would do it and instead just buy tickets and go myself. But it was fine.

What a wonderful tour from start to finish. Our guide is an archaeologist. She was amazing from start to finish. In the group were 2 older people with mobility impairment and a small child. She was able to accommodate our individual needs. She was also extremely knowledgeable about the Acropolis and Greece history. Fully recommend this tour!

Our tour guide Aimilia was really great! I was worried about meeting up with her because I didn't see the message from the tour operator with her name and phone number, but she was right at the meeting spot and everything went fine. We had an elderly family member with us and she was patient as we navigated all the steep climbs and crowds. My advice is to go in the late afternoon! We had the tour at 9 a.m. and the site was already packed with people so it was sometimes hard to even move. Still a wonderful experience!

My family and I absolutely loved this tour. The Acropolis was on our bucket list and our guide, Eva, was the sweetest and most knowledgeable person. She knew all the amazing historical facts and showed us all the best photo spots. We highly recommend this tour, specifically with Eva!

Anda was a fabulous tour guide. Super knowledgeable, professional, and kind. We learned so much and had a wonderful time. The only issues were the tour company messed up our reservation start time. We reserved 10am and they texted the day before to confirm 11am with no explanation and then, when pressed, said they had an issue with our original start time. Makes a big difference when the heat is sweltering and you don’t want to start later in the day. Also, BRING LOTS OF COLD WATER! Only warm tap water and coin-operated vending machines atop the hill.

Our guide was knowledgeable. 3 star rating as i find the operator not trustworthy. One of our friend fell sick and we contacted the operator to check and move the tour to next day. Their first response was that they have already bought entrance tickets. When we said we’ll pay for those if they’ll help us change date to next day, their response changed to all the tours for tomorrow are sold out. Which was not true we could find availability on Viator and could very well book the tour for next day (i have screenshots of the booking page)
I would caution anyone booking this as they weren’t truthful and not helpful to accommodate any genuine request.

We understand your frustration on this but our answer was that we already have the tickets for you as you called us some hours before the tour start and also that we are fully booked for next day. You could find availability on Viator because we are not Viator. We are in Viator's platform. We are a tour operating company. Our tours with our guides were fully booked for the next day and we can prove this as I just described.

I highly recommend this tour and especially our tour guide Anda. She is well educated on history and facts- Pointed out replica parts of the ruins. She had an album depicting images she’d share of what the ruins looked like during years prior. She spoke clear English unlike other tour guides we experienced. Anda was very thoughtful to adjust pace and safety pointing out areas on surface to be careful. She went well beyond in caring for us not just during tour but also after. She wanted to make sure we had transportation to hotel. She tried to hail cabs then tried Uber and then was finally able to get us a taxi waiting with us to be assured we were all set. She was the highlight of our tour and hope one day to tour with her again. Thank you Anda for a memorable visit to your city.

This tour is listed as a skip the line tour. This is not true. In reality it is that you already have tickets, but still have to wait in line to get inside. This is only a two hour tour. We waited an hour and a half!! while our tour guide complained the whole time. Except for the complaining, the guide was very nice. But she never told us her name and she was very unhappy about having to wait in line for an hour and a half to get in to the Acropolis. She called her boss to let him know we felt we were being cheated out of a tour hour tour. I asked to reschedule or just cancel because she was so unhappy and because I wasn’t going to get a two hour tour like I paid for, and he refused but assured us that she would still do the tour once we got inside. She did not. Once we got inside, she spent maybe 10 minutes telling us a few things and then left us. It was a complete waste of money. I could have bought the tickets on my own and waited in the same line and googled more information than she told us. Very disappointing. Save your money and don’t pick this tour!!

Dear Leslie, we can understand your frustration for waiting all this time outside in the line. This tour includes your tickets and you can enter directly with the tour guide. This time of year as tourism is recovering, a lot of people are visiting Athens . The day that you were at Acropolis there were 10 cruise ships as well. All of them got there first thing in the morning and all of them had tickets. So all these people with the rest of us created a gigantic line. Even if you have a ticket someone must scan the ticket.
You cannot enter without being checked. We have already asked from the Archaeological committee to open more gates as this problem will be a daily routine now that we are at the peak of the season.
