Dephi itself and the guide were very good and informative.
However, there were some logistical issues. Tour operator failed to notify us that they'd be picking us up 45 minutes before our official start time. They claimed they notified us on WhatsApp, but there was no message. We scrambled to get ready. Eventually, they came back but it was very stressful.
The lunch spot was disappointing. The food quality and especially the service were terrible. There were nice views nearby, but not from the restaurant while dining.
There was a bizarre stop at a store 15 minutes later where they said this is your bathroom break, and then 2+ hours back! No bathroom on the bus.

Miscommunication is a big problem we did not get info for the correct pick up time and missed our trip to Delphi. When we called and asked what they could do to help us the reply was “nothing”. Very poor customer service and a really bad attitude on top of it!

My tour group was both for English and Italian speakers. The guide was fluent in both languages, however it made for a longer than necessary tour because the guide did everything twice. Once in English and then Italian. We also did not have the headsets so sometimes it was hard to hear when we were outside at Delphi. I think if there was just one language on a tour more educational information could be provided or cut the tour shorter than currently.

Unfortunately the most popular site, the Athena Pronaia was closed due to landslide! But it was still great trip and the included lunch was amazing 3 course at Hotel Amalia. Fortunately the Sphinx in the museum was available.

The long drive was not what we expected. We travel about 7 hours to and from Delphi. Our guide was knowledgeable but difficult to understand.

Delphi is amazing. Getting to site was challenging. Large bus could not come to our hotel to pick us up and was unable to get through the pictures town 20 min from Delphi. We were held off.by police for 40 min. Lunch was dry and .confusing. Four people were to share a plate of salad.....very strange. Chicken kebob with French fries not the typically Greek meal we had hoped for.

The coach left bang on time and the trip was as described. The sites were fascinating and the museum is excellent. Unfortunately it felt like we didn't have enough time at any of the places of interest.
It is a very long day, we left at 08.30 and got back at 19.15. There wasn't a toilet on the coach which may be an issue for some.

Excellent guide, well worth the trip! Guide was knowledgeable, engaging, efficient and well-organized, driver was excellent - archeological site was awe-inspiring, museum was also very nice, although a guide of another group was incredibly rude - most of the guides, including ours, were clearly working to keep their groups moving in a fluid and courteous fashion without obstructing each other. One guide, leading a Spanish-speaking group, was disregarding this protocol and barging through other groups rudely. He also happened to be the only male guide... Coincidence? I think not.

Our guide Dora was awesome from the very best. She gave an overview of different periods of Greece history.
Upon arrival in Delphi story continued with so many names and facts.And of course The Place. You gotta see it,because it is impossible to describe it with right words.

As an experienced traveler, I can confidently say that this was one of the worst tours I've ever been on. Despite being operated by a large company, the tour was disorganised and inefficient. It took two hours just to pick up everyone, as the company combined at least three different tours into one bus. After being picked up at 7:30 AM, we didn’t leave Athens until 9:34 AM, which I monitored due to growing frustration. Combining multiple tours like this not only caused delays but also led to unnecessary confusion and frustration among the guests.
One of the most frustrating aspects was the unnecessary 20-minute stop at a ski resort in Arachova, in front of a store, which stretched to 30 minutes. It was clear this was a commission-driven detour, adding no value to the Delphi tour. This irrelevant stop detracted from the historical focus of the tour and wasted valuable time. What does a ski resort have to do with Delphi? Anyone with a brain would recognise that this stop was entirely out of place.
When we finally reached Delphi, we were only allotted about 2.5 hours to explore both the ruins and the museum with the tourguide, which is far from adequate. This even included waiting for 15 minutes at the museum for other people to arrive. As someone with a deep passion for ancient history and Greek mythology, I was incredibly disappointed by the rushed pace. Delphi is a significant site—larger and more immersive than even the Acropolis—yet we were not given nearly enough time to fully appreciate its historical significance.
I would strongly recommend that the company reevaluate how they structure these tours. Combining multiple tours into one bus creates unnecessary delays and confusion, and irrelevant stops like the one at Arachova should be eliminated. Most importantly, more time should be allocated to Delphi itself, as it is a major historical site that deserves more than just a brief visit.
Overall, the poor organisation, irrelevant stops, and insufficient time at Delphi significantly detracted from the experience. I would not recommend this tour to anyone serious about exploring Greece’s rich historical heritage. Even if you're not passionate about history, you'll leave feeling disappointed and shortchanged.

Great day trip to the center of the world. The tour guide was fun and knowledgeable!
This tour is mostly focused on being lead through the sites and the museum with little downtime to explore on your own, keep that in mind as you’re planning if your someone who prefers a lot of free time.
Lunch was fantastic and we did lil stops for shops and views afterward.

Such a wonderful day trip to beautiful Delfi and nearby towns however time needs to be allocated a lite better.
Bus journey was super comfortable. It was a luxury coach with super cold air conditioning which was perfect for the hot day time.
Maria was an excellent tour guide (GO Tours) as she was very knowledgeable and kept giving us info along the whole trip.
Site of Apollo was beautiful but it was big. We had just 30 minutes to ourselves which was not enough considering you have to walk up and down carefully on the path. There are many historical relics to view and due to limited time we missed the Stadium.
The Delfi Museum was absolutely beautiful but again due to limited time we didn't get a chance to roam ourselves.
Lunch was delicious and the views around the hilltop restaurant are not to be missed
If the time can be managed a bit better by the tour company, it would be a five star experience.

The trip was built as English-speaking but when we arrived, the turkey said this is a bilingual English French. The turkey spoke excellent French, but very accented English and difficult to understand. Also, she spoke just one sentence in English and then repeated it in French and then said another sentence in English and repeated it in French. It was very difficult to follow until she completed her story. She should've told the story in English and then completely in French. This also delayed everything because she had a repeat twice, you should say that the trip might be bilingual and not advertise it as English. The trip was over 11 hours and not 10 hours as said on your website

Great tour! Our guide provided lots of information about Greek culture and history. The archaeological site and museum were fascinating. Plus stopping briefly in the small town was an added plus. So picturesque!

The information provided by the tour guide was excellent and her attention to ensuring that we were all looked after and enjoyed the whole experience was excellent. Getting out into the mountain area was fascinating and the site of Delphi and its museum was just amazing.

What made this tour so wonderful for me was the immense knowledge of the tour guide. Unfortunately, I did not write his name down and I can't remember who it was. I took so many tours on this trip! Wandering around in the ruins and the museum would only have been half as spectacular if it was expected that we do it without a guide to bring everything to life. This was one of my favorites of all the tours I took, and it is ironic because I had at one time thought about not going on this tour. I am so glad that I did! Thank you so much to the guide (I hope you can research when I took the trip and please post his name with this review so that he can get some well-deserved accolades!! My apologies to him again for not writing his name down.) After reading other reviews, I saw that some people were very pleased (like me!!!) and some felt disappointed. I try really hard to match my tastes with what the tour offers and that is why I read a lot of the reviews before I make my choice. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who REALLY wants to dig deep into the history of this location, and I hope they get the guide who really impressed me with his outstanding knowledge! His passion for passing on that knowledge is what placed this tour head and shoulders above most of the others that I took! Thank you again for this wonderful experience.

Great for a quick overview of the site with a very quick tour of the museum. Wish I had booked the longer trip with the tour of Meteora. Food was mediocre cafeteria food, and surprised that all drinks, even water, was an additional charge.

Great tour of Delphi! The group tour was organized and our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Delphi. We were allowed plenty of time to explore the archaeological site, museum, and village. Lunch was a full course meal in a village. Highly recommended.

Amazing place, energy, views, history, oracles, etc., etc. so worth the drive to Delphi to visit this Temple and Sanctuary. I went there with a purpose as I need to heal my heart, body and soul and Apollo is the G-d of healing, light, prophecy. Well, the energy is so strong that one can feel the presence of Gaia everywhere and the deities. Vicky, our guide was a book of knowledge, she knows her history from A to Z and George was an amazing driver. Loved everything about it.

Effie was an absolutely fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and clear, and brought everything to life for us. We learned a lot (and we already thought we knew a fair bit!). The information about the trip on the Viator site is a little misleading though - we didn't have three hours at the Delphi site, just a little over 90 minutes. The museum was very interesting afterwards, but we would have liked a few minutes to ourselves to pop into the shop and go back to some of the exhibits; instead we were ushered back to the coach for the lunch stop. The included (set) dinner really isn't worth it - it isn't very nice and an a la carte menu was available which we would have preferred. The stop off at Aracova on the way back was also a bit pointless - there is nothing there and it would have been better to just get on the road and get back to Athens before rush hour. Overall, the trip was a great way to visit Delphi, and the guide was excellent, which outweigh our niggles, hence giving the tour four stars.

Thoroughly enjoyable day out to the stunning Delphi historical site featuring the Temple of Apollo. Lots of fascinating facts and information from our knowledgeable guide Effy. Nice coffee break stop on the way up at Livadeia with a lunch stop near the beautiful mountain town of Arachova. Snow on Mt Parnassus a bonus to all the other breathtaking views. Excellent Museum adjacent to the Delphi site should not be missed. Good, safe driver. Overall a highly memorable, wonderful day. Definitely recommended!

I had been wanting to go to Delphi for many many years. I am 61yrs.
I put my Ted ( Fred ) on this low column for 60 secs and then had a woman employee there jabbing her finger at my chest and aggressively telling me off.
When this interaction was finished, I walked up and sat meditating on a wooden bench near the theatre area . The staff member then came upto me and shouted to put the teddy bear in my bag ( it was at my side and i was not doing anything with it) .
I was thinking extremely distressed and I went to complain to the manager.
I also lost my tour group for a short time as I was so upset.
The tour guide was lovely and I enjoyed the trip overall.
Staff should not treat people this way. It would not be allowed in England.

This was a great trip, Delphi was beautiful and they give you enough time to see all of it and roam on your own, but also take you on a guided museum tour. The winery lunch was also well worth it, but there aren't really other restaurants around so I would recommend you sign up for the lunch.
