Petros was a wonderful guide. We had an amazing day. He picked us up promptly in a beautiful car. He was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly as well. We were able to see all of the sights at our own pace. Superb English. Great recommendation for places to visit after the tour. We had never been to Athens before and wanted to insure we covered the highlights. Petros was our driver/tour guide and was a wealth of information. He knows his ancient history and go-to modern Greek reality. At every stop before we exited the really nice Mercedes Benz, Petros provided the highlights and history of what we were about to explore. We were able to tour Acropolis, the original Panathenaic Olympic Stadium in Greece, and the Changing of the Guard at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Greek Parliament Building which is guarded by the Evzones, the soldiers of the former royal bodyguard. Petros explained to us the significance of the 400 folds in the soldiers skirts. We traveled on to an amazing delicious traditional Greek lunch at Kalaypso Tavern. After lunch we had time to see the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and drive to the top of one of Athens mountains for an incredible view of the city. Absolutely just amazing. Thank you Petros for a fantastic day!

We were very disappointed when we were picked up to find out our guide had called in sick. Our driver Bill did an excellent job of providing us info on the Acropolis but would have been so much better with the guide. We did not get to see everything on the itinerary because of time constraints. We also only drove past some sites because we did not have a guide. Driver did an excellent job under the circumstances

It was a unimaginable event. I never thought I would get to visit Greece. I felt luxurious in a Mercedes Benz. Our driver Petros was a 10. The tour guide for the Acropolis was very knowledgeable and nice but not very attentive. We would take photos in areas that we didn't have to worry about walking in a single file line. She would leave us behind when we wanted to take photos. The food was great!

Nikolas was a great guide ! We not only saw the most important sites, we learned history and culture. Comfortable, super clean car, water provided. Nickolas dropped us off at the end of the tour at a fabulous local restaurant - some of the best food we had in Athens.

Wonderful tour for first time visitors to Greece! Our tour guide, Andreas, was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We only had a half day and this was the perfect amount of time to have a private tour of the Olympic stadium, temple of Olympian Zeus, and the Acropolis. Demetrius was very informative and gave us a great recommendation for lunch at Savvas and modified our tour per our request. Betty was very sweet and a great tour guide of the Acropolis. Awesome time.

Our guide Mike was awesome. He was very professional in his manners, attire and knowledge. He gave us a first class tour of Athens, took great care of us, he was available the entire time and gave us a sense of security that we are getting the best service possible. Our driver was knowledgeable but but but out tour person didn't show up, last minute notice.
I paid for the works ($888) but I didn't get the works. Nevertheless, I'm in town for a short time only and wanted to see it all only to my disappointment. I paid a lot of money but only got a hundred dollar back I received midway through our tour. What about the rest of expenses such as unused skip the line tour tickets we didn't use and I only received a hundred Euro dollars back, I should of received more of a refund for not having a tour guide and their unused tickets value.

Unfortunately the licenced guide informed us early in the morning of the tour that she had high fever.The day was overbooked and we decided to refound the money that we charge for the guide and we refund 100 euros.
We don't know why you didn't use the prepaid tickets that your tour driver gave you in the morning.
We feel sorry if the tour was lower to your expectations.We will try to improve.

The visit to the Acropolis was amazing! It was worth booking a tour to have “skip the line” tickets. Walking up to the Acropolis is a little difficult but doable. We are in our mid 70’s but with our granddaughters “spotting” us and a collapsible hiking stick we were able to maneuver the trek up and back down. Be very aware of uneven steps and slippery marble paths. Our tour guide was good but maybe too detailed in information re dates, etc. We could have benefited with headphones to hear her presentation. It was very hot (very little shade) and noisy with all the visitors and tour groups. I didn’t realize that she did just the tour of the Acropolis. Our van driver, Spiros, was awesome and accommodating in driving us around Athens and stopping at a couple of other sites and a restaurant for lunch. We were returned to the ship in plenty of time.

Dem, our tour guide, was awesome! This tour was exactly what we wanted! Private, comfortable vehicle. Dem explained the sights and kept it interesting! He took us to meet Ava, our private guide for the Acropolis. She guided us around explaining all of the history and showing us the best spots for photos! The lunch was fantastic! So much food... even our picky teen enjoyed lunch! Dem took us to an adorable little shop to get delicious baklava and Gelato before shopping too! It was a perfect way to explore Acropolis area!

This was the best value for our travel budget ever. Athens is awesome - but what truly made this tour great was our guide. Our guide - Vasilis - was what made this tour great. He was the reason this was 5 stars as he listened to our wants and needs and adjusted accordingly. If you get this tour - request Vasilis. Trust me!

I paid $675.00 for this trip. Didn't reali3 that you have to pay for transportation 160.00 euro on top of that. What is $675.00 for when you advertised transportation and tickets. Very disappointed. Would not recommend to snyone

maybe you never read what you booked with Four Seasons Greece Tours.
You decided to stay in a hotel 40 miles away from the city of Athens so we had to do 160 miles for picking you up and drop you off at the end of the half day Athens tour that you booked.
The tour is 5 hours and we spent 11 hours that day.
Also you didn't pay for tickets to us and we NEVER advertised something like this.
Only the all inclusive option includes tickets - licensed guide and lunch in the price but you didn't book for this one.
This review is not fair.

This was easily one of the best shore excursions we have done - EVER! Yannis was our driver for the day and he went above and beyond to show us the best parts of Athens and make sure we had what we needed. He took us to the yummiest restaurant for lunch and even allowed extra time for us to shop at the end of the day. Would highly recommend this experience!

Our driver, Dimitris was wonderful and a fount of knowledge AND very interesting. I had a hard time walking because of a foot injury but Dimitris tried to be as accommodating as possible and it was appreciated. My GF and I enjoyed the entire tour and all the history we learned that day. My only suggestion for anyone is to book a tour (wherever) and take advantage of the "book now, pay later" option. Thankfully I was able to go on this tour because our other Viator tour three days prior we missed because of my cruise ship injury and not being able to cancel it in time.

We thought we were getting a private tour, but we were informed that we got a private driver with a pre-determined agenda. Our driver was very kind and gracious, he even flipped the tour to help decrease the crowds at the Acropolis. But we spent so much time driving around the city, in traffic, around and around. When we saw the gardens, we weren’t allowed to stop, when asked to stick out feet in the ocean, we passed many Sandy beaches and ended up at one full of rocks. It wasn’t awful, he just didn’t want to depart from his schedule to taylor it to our interests.

This private tour really exceeded all of our expectations …. Demetri was so engaging & very knowledgeable; and he made this Athens tour FUN for us as well! From our hotel pick-up in the Plaka, to the Olympic Stadium, and then onto the Changing of the Guard in front of the Greek Parliament, Demetri gave us so much history and information about everything we passed along the way. It was great to understand all about the Guards (their uniform and why they “walked” the way they do) before we actually saw them. As we were driving around, Demetri would point out so many historic places. Then we were off to the Acropolis …. Wow, it was just incredible …. Our private guide there was excellent, and we loved that she allowed us to take as much time as we needed to see everything, Then we met up with Demetri again. And before lunch, we went shopping in the Plaka section, adjacent to the Acropolis …. Lastly we drove to a wonderful restaurant down near the sea, Koutouki Kalypso; the food was phenomenal, and everything was absolutely delicious …. the Greek people serve so much food; sadly we couldn’t finish it all! This tour was a highlight of our time in Athens ……… be sure to sign up for this tour; hopefully you be lucky and meet Demetri!!
