Wonderful excursion. The whole team is very friendly and the boat is comfortable. The best way to see the coastline. Our diver and guide were so fun and gave us a special treat at the end with a secure but exhilarating ride. The scenery was gorgeous.

What an experience👍we saw loads of Dolphins 🐬 and beautiful caves + a lot of fun in the boat. Our guide was super friendly and also knew very well the history about the caves that we visited. Everything was brilliant...i highly recommend this experience.

Overview

The Portuguese coast near Albufeira is home to the Benagil Caves—a huge sea cave with a cathedral-like circular roof opening—and pods of dolphins if you can reach them. This boat tour visits both, stopping at the caves and cruising along the coast in a semi-rigid boat from Albufeira to Alfanzina to see dolphins in their natural habitat during a one-hour dolphin-watching segment.

this was our third trip to the Benagil caves it’s nice to be on a small boat that was fast and fun. The best part though was the crew who answered questions readily and was very knowledgeable about sea creatures with a marine biology background.. We didn’t see any dolphin but did see bluefin tuna. And that’s nature..... highly recommend

Really well done tour! Lots of fun, and our captain and guide were very knowledgeable. Even though we didn’t see any dolphins, it was well worth the money. We especially liked being on a smaller, more maneuverable boat to get inside the caves. And the kids loved going fast and bouncing over the waves!

The crew was very friendly, informative, and funny. They explained some of the history of Albufeira and the boat being smaller allowed us to go to a few caves. We were lucky to spot dolphins. They did allow for swimming for those who wanted to do so for a few minutes as the weather and water were good that day. I just wish I had known that was an option as it is not in the deacription so I would come prepared but it was still a great trip.

Fantastic Boat Trip to Benagil Cave

I had an amazing experience on this boat trip to the Benagil Cave in the Algarve. The limestone coastline was absolutely stunning, and because we were on a smaller speed boat, we were able to get much closer to the caves than the larger boats could—making the whole experience feel even more special. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable, sharing lots of interesting information along the way. A real highlight was unexpectedly spotting a pod of wild dolphins who put on a little show for us—an unforgettable moment! One thing to keep in mind: the trip lasts about two hours with no bathroom stops, so it might not be ideal for anyone with bladder issues. Otherwise, I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable adventure along the Algarve coast.

By far the best experience. So impressed with the language skills (English, French, and Spanish were spoken on our trip). The crew was amazing, we got to see dolphins as well (right up alongside our boat). The crew had a great sense of humor and really took care of all the guests very well. 10/10 recommend using OceanEye!
