They would really enjoy it. Fred shared excellent history of the Portugal area. . We went on backroads through rivers and narrow bumpy roads. He was an excellent driver. I liked learning more about the cork trees. We saw small towns. Some of the ways fruit and herbs were used in the production of liquors and jams. Drove to the top of a high hill for a beautiful panorama of the countryside. It was an entertaining and educational day.

Well worth the money. Marco the driver was very informative and constantly making funny jokes. Very good English and very considerate to all of us in the jeep
It is nice to see the rural side of Albufeira. You get to enjoy nature and the swim in the river is amazing.
John our guide absolutely made our day, even though it was scorching hot out. He picked us up at our hotel, was very cheerful and informative the whole trip and was a great driver too. The tour was really good and gave us a taste of real Portuguese culture with honey, jam, liqueur tasting and an unforgettable swim at a waterfall. A really worthwhile trip. The only thing I'd change was to have done this tour at the beginning of our holiday as it was that good! Thanks John!

Highly recommended! Our guide John made it fun & exciting. He brought us to amazing sites, was extremely knowledgeable and hilarious! The trip to the local farm was a fantastic stop with adult drinks & sweet treats, Joining with a family with 2 small well behaved & engaging children while still making sure my friend & I had the best experience possible.

An amazing trip in the beautiful countryside. A beautiful break from the noise and buzz of the busy touristic places. Breath taking views. Personally, I think I would have preferred more off road driving. But a trip still worth taking. A lovely sample of simpler life and panoramic views not to be missed.

A full afternoon of travelling in the country. It does get cool in the higher elevations as you are travelling in an open air vehicle.
There were 5 of us and each and every one of us loved this experience. Fred was fabulous, very knowledgeable and informative and expert driver and photographer. Would 100% recommend without hesitation. What a fabulous afternoon!
It was so convenient to have our jeep driver/guide, Fred, pick us up and drop us off right at the villa we're staying at in Albufeira! He arrived 10 minutes prior to the tour departure time to pick up our group of 3 Canadian couples. We chose the afternoon 4 hour safari which started at 2:00.
Fred was warm and engaging right from the get go! He spoke in a loud voice as he drove which allowed all to hear the information he was sharing about the area. Portugal had experienced an unusual amount of rainfall and flooding in January this year and so some of the usual route had to be diverted and Fred drove skillfully through parts of the road that had definitely been impacted by the recent heavy rains. WE LOVED spending time in this part of the Algarves off the beaten path and the villages were charming!!
Fabulous, exciting trip. Despite inclement weather, we were taken in the jeep to many fascinating off-road places of interest. Highly recommend to those who are looking for some excitement and cultural enrichment.

Excellent trip my guide was fantastic, sorry can’t remember your name. There was five of us. Really enjoyed it all the waterfall is it was the highlight.
This was a great experience. It was a tour done with coworkers and family members. Prior to the tour, we had only been at the beach resort and the couple of strips with shops and restaurants. So it felt similar to any beach town selling you things.
But the tour is a great introduction to local history, day-to-day life, culture, architecture and local economy while winding through narrow roads, up hillsides and more. The 4x4 and rough terrain gave it a safari feel.
Everyone in our group was happy with experience and glad we had a little taste of Portugal and Albufeira that was more than trinket shops.
Our guide was great.
I waited for 1 hour and trying to contact the company with no help on the web chat. No communication from company to confirm time of pick up. They said there will be a email to confirm time for pick up which I have never received. I was panic and no one manage to give me an answer.
The driver arrives after 1 hour and he told me he is late but the pick up time was 2pm which was not communicated to me. The driver was very lovely and. Knowledgeable about the places. He is very kind helpful friendly and patience. Had a good time and it was an amazing safari.
The highlight of our holiday in Portugal! My family enjoyed every part of the experience. We went up the mountain and saw the farm, forest, waterfall, local villages and the breathtaking landscape. The natural beauty of Portugal is amazing!
Perfect afternoon in the Algarve mountains. Miguel is a super guide, lots of information and stories and makes everyone feel super relaxed. Between tasting local specialities, a refreshing stop at a spring and a stunning stop to admire the view high in the mountains we had a great time. Highly recommend

We truly enjoyed our Jeep tour through the Algarve Mountain side. This was by far one of our best experiences. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He brought us to some amazing spots for sightseeing, swimming. A must do!!
Our guide Fred was phenomenal! He showed us the beautiful countryside, shared the history of Algarve and made the tour fun. He treated our group to a few special locations which were fabulous!! Wish I could do this tour again.

He explained everything in detail and took the time to answer our questions. The. Countryside was absolutely BEAUTIFUL - highly recommend.
Fun afternoon, with an experienced local guide. We saw some fabulous sites, drove some crazy back roads, and also learned a bit about local farming and herbs that our guide Marco just seemed to find growing wildly, so would stop and let us taste/ smell. Unfortunately we did not visit the cork tree site, and with no explanation as to why this part of the itinerary was skipped, which was very disappointing. But Paderne, Alte, and Sao Bartolomeu de Messines were lovely spots!

If I was rating the guide and safari itself, it would have been 5*.
However the itinerary as shown did not match the itinerary on the day, which was not an issue and trip was still thoroughly enjoyable, but not entirely what was advertised.
Other than that, both children and I had a great time.
