Viator needs to do a better job to get their customers to the right tour service

You need to know this: the voucher you download is NOT the ticket. Viator should - must - let their customers know where to go to convert the voucher into the ticket. It is very important!!!!! If you just try to show up at the “skip the line” location they would surely turn you away and tell you That without a ticket they cannot let you in. That would be frustrating for any traveler. The reason I gave it five stars is that I was able to figure out which tour guide actually had my ticket, I looked up the address all by myself, and was able to use Apple Maps to find it. Other people are surely not that lucky. And once there, I genuinely thought this was one of the memorable experiences in my life. The guide who got us into the museum was polite and very caring and considerate. The museum was SPECTACULAR!

We just did this tour with Kiara and it was so much fun. She was a great tour guide and it's very coordinated. I guess the day we visited was typically a very busy day for them and after so many people they shut the gates at Pompeii, so they made sure to get us in before that happened which I thought was great. The guides at Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii were both so knowledgeable and it was a really pleasant day.

Excellent tour and guide with some meeting confusion.

We loved this tour and learned a great deal from our guide Naomi! The meeting place is run by a different company which created a lot of confusion for us, and the guide didn't have a name tag or a way for us to identify her so that created more confusion at the meeting place. Once we connected with her, it was well worth it, but expect some confusion meeting the guide. Definitely pay for the gellato at the end!

Our guide was from Rome and e remedy knowledgeable. He made the information really interesting even though he says it over and over. His perspective on history was quite refreshing. He was easy to understand and personable. We spent the exact right amount of time in each location. Small groups are the best. In larger groups you wait too long for people to use the bathroom and climb stairs!

Taking this as a guide-led activity completely elevated our time at the Borghese Museum. Our guide, Frederica, was exceptional. She provided a deeply informative exploration of both the historical context and the artistic genius behind the collection. Rather than just pointing out the works, she explained the political climate of Baroque Rome and taught us exactly how to look at the art—highlighting the physical tension in Bernini’s marble and the mastery of light in Caravaggio's canvases. Frederica’s profound knowledge brought the history and art to life in a way only a great guide can. Highly recommended!

Amazing Colosseum tour with skip-the-lines!

This Colosseum tour was an incredible experience and definitely one of the highlights of our time in Rome. Our host was incredibly knowledgeable and did such a great job bringing the history of the Colosseum to life. He was engaging, personable, and made the tour feel interesting from start to finish rather than just a history lesson. We learned so much about the ancient Romans, the gladiators, and the fascinating history behind one of the world's most iconic landmarks. Our host was excellent at explaining the details and answering questions, and his enthusiasm really made the experience that much more enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome. Having such a knowledgeable and engaging guide made seeing the Colosseum even more memorable and gave us a much deeper appreciation for the history and significance of the site.
