Giuseppe is a great tour guide.

I took a small group tour to Vatican City, which included the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, and Saint Peter’s Basilica. Our guide was Giuseppe. He was a wealth of information, showed us all the highlights, provided great time management to make sure that we could get through our entire tour within the allotted time and most of all he was genuine and knowledgeable. If you ever have a chance to take a tour with Giuseppe, do it !

Our guide was Eugenio. Knowledgeable, easy to understand, and a really good human! This was a fantastic tour and he never rushed us. It was beautiful and he was able to answer our questions regarding just about everything – and there is quite a bit of material that he went over! If you have a chance to do the Store, the guides really make a difference. Ask for him.

Amazing Colosseum + Forum tour with Patrick!

Patrick was an amazing guide for the Colosseum and Roman Forum! He was so incredibly knowledgeable about anything and everything in the Colosseum and Forum - from the materials used in the construction of the Colosseum to the gladiators to even the different types of trees/plants in the Forum, and so much more. His binder full of images was also helpful to understand what the Colosseum looked like in the past and really helped me visualize what he was saying about 2000 year old structures. Patrick was very efficient and made use of every minute to teach us something new. We could not have asked for a better Colosseum + Roman Forum experience!

Excellent experience!

Roberta was a fabulous guide! Very warm and welcoming and full of interesting information about the colosseum and forum. Our tour was scheduled the day both places ending up closing out of respect for a worker who had died on site. Despite the unexpected closure in the middle of our tour, Roberta was able to quickly pivot and still give us an excellent experience seeing what we could of both sites. And Crown Tours graciously refunded a portion of the cost to make up for the time we missed inside. I would certainly book with them again. Very professional and well-run.

It's not so much of a tour as it is someone guiding you into the doors of the Vatican museum. This is what we were looking for. Watch for pickposkets! My dad had his wallet stolen inside the Sistine chapel. However, that was no fault of the tour provider/guide

Fantastic tour!

This is a fantastic experience! How cool is it to say you’ve hiked to the top of a volcano?! It’s a long day, but worth every second. The Neapolitan pizza was incredible, and touring the ruins of Pompeii will leave a lasting impression. Our tour guide Patrizia was wonderful, very knowledgeable and made sure we had very clear instructions for a stress-free tour.

Amazing. We did this as...

Amazing. We did this as part of our honeymoon and we can't imagine it being any better. We did the 3:30 tour that ended at the Colosseum, so we were there for golden hour and it was just incredible. Niccolo was a great guide, funny, informative, helpful. Palatine Hill. the Roman Forum, and all the ruins we saw first were amazing as well. Definitely would recommend doing it that way.

We had an absolutely amazing experience on our private tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel! Our group of 10 was fortunate to have an incredibly knowledgeable and engaging guide who made the entire experience truly special. She had studied art at university, and her background and passion for art were evident throughout the tour. She brought the incredible artwork to life by explaining the history, meaning, and fascinating details behind so many of the masterpieces. Her knowledge of the Vatican was exceptional, and her English was excellent, making everything easy to understand and enjoyable. It was the perfect combination of history, art, and fascinating stories. We highly recommend this tour and our wonderful guide!

Excellent tour of Roman Colosseum and surrounding area.

Serena from Blue Cat Tours provided us with an excellent private tour (just two of us) of the Roman Colosseum, the Forum, and Palatine Hill. We were extremely pleased with our experience. She is very knowledgeable about the history and archaeology of this area and clearly enjoys sharing her knowledge with visitors. Logistics were flawless. She met us in front of the metro stop at the scheduled time and had all our tickets already prepared. This allowed us to skip most of the lines for the three venues. Her English is excellent and she was able to answer our questions as we travelled through the sites. She paced the tour well and adjusted on the fly if we wanted to spend more time in one area and less in another. She also made sure we had opportunities for water breaks and time in the shade as we were in Rome during the July heat wave. She finished up right at the three-hour mark and gave us a great recommendation for a lunch restaurant before she left. I would absolutely recommend Serena and Blue Cat tours for visitors who appreciate the history of this area and want to learn more. I should note that the tour does require a fair amount of walking and has stairs and inclines. The Colosseum does have an elevator but even so, wear comfortable walking shoes and make sure you have appropriate sun protection.
