- Please note that access to the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica is subject to Vatican regulations and official events and may close these areas without prior notice. However, your ticket will still grant access to the Vatican Museums and partial refunds cannot be issued
- Knees and shoulders must be covered to enter during your visit.
- A mandatory security check to access the museums may require a wait of up to 30 minutes.
- Visitors with a certified disability of more than 67% are entitled to free admission. If the visitor is not self-sufficient, one accompanying person is also granted free admission.
- Check-in at the meeting point, Via Sebastiano Veniero 74, is mandatory to collect the official tickets , as the booking voucher is not accepted to enter
- The tour involves climbing stairs. There is no elevator access in most areas of the Vatican Museums. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
- Strollers are allowed inside the Vatican Museums, however please be aware that most areas have stairs and limited elevator access. If the Basilica option is selected, strollers must be folded and carried through the entrance. It is not possible to join the tour with a stroller unless it is foldable.
- Wheelchairs and mobility aids cannot be used to access St. Peter's Basilica via the Sistine Chapel exit, due to security regulations. For this reason, travelers using wheelchairs are unable to join the group tour, as they are required to follow a separate accessible route that avoids stairs. We recommend contacting us before booking for further assistance.
- Please bring a valid passport or photo ID, as it may be required for entry and security checks at the Vatican Museums.
- The ticket price includes the official Vatican Museums entrance fee (€20+€5 per adult, €8+€5 per child aged 6-18), plus applicable taxes, booking fees, hosted entry, and meeting point assistance.
- Please note that a live guide and the St. Peter’s Basilica are not included in every booking option. To include Basilica access or a guided tour in your experience, you must select the specific option that clearly mentions a live guide or St. Peter’s Basilica at the time of booking. We kindly recommend reviewing the selected option and its inclusions carefully before completing your reservation.
- We're sorry, but late arrivals will not be able to join the guided tour(if selected) due to Museum regulations
- Please note that skip-the-line access cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals, as priority entry is valid only for the reserved time slot.

The guide is great. The place is too full - bordering on dangerous - too many people- cant take pictures - battle to push through from one side of crowd to another
The communication regarding the time to arrive and check in for the tour was inadequate. Upon our arrival, we were instructed to return 15 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time. However, we encountered numerous individuals standing in a congested area, with limited seating and inaccessible restrooms. Despite the tour being conducted in English, our guide’s English proficiency was insufficient, hindering our comprehension of the tour’s content. The total tour duration was approximately two hours, and attendees should anticipate encountering a large number of people throughout the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and extensive walking. Ultimately, the experience felt rushed and disorganized.
Maria Letezia was very informative, funny and succeed. There is a lot to get through in the limited amount of time you are in the museum. I highly recommend studying what you might like to see ahead of time. The Sistine Chapel while beautiful was underwhelming. It was supposed to be silent, but there are lots of people talking, and even though we went at the end of September, it was packed. Very difficult to relax and see the artwork because of all the noise.
We had a great guide named Fred. He is an archaeologist and gave so much information. He was funny and very thorough. Highly recommend. Great experience.
We had booked the 8am tour, and it was cancelled and we were moved to 9:30am. We were very nervous about the lines getting in, but they moved quite swiftly. Our ticket included entrance but not tour guide through the museum so we purchased audio system when in the museum. Very helpful at 8EU pp.
The crowds at this time were a lot. Unsure of how they would have been earlier. all in all a nice experience. So much to see.
I didn’t know what to expect of The Vatican Museum. The art inside is beautiful, and I couldn’t have appreciated it so well without our English-speaking guide who escorted us in all the way to Sistine Chapel. It was nice to avoid the long intimidating lines when you approach the walls of Vatican City! Tour was a little pricey.
Our guide was amazing and very helpful! She offered helpful tips for our visit. I highly recommend.!
Really wonderful early morning tour. Definitely sign up for the 8 am. It only gets busier as the day goes on. Very informative. So much to see!
Very interesting. There are a lot of stairs. Beautiful artwork and nice outdoor space. Very popular museum.

We had a person with a cane in the group and after going up a flight of stairs the rest of the group was gone. We missed out on getting the ear buds talking tour guide so we toured the place on our own. It is what it is.
Verrrry expensive. Feel like it could be cheaper elsewhere. Great experience
Would recommend having a tour guide to take you round.

Cloudia was a fantastic tour guide. However it definitely felt like we were skipping a lot of details.
We weren't aware that the basilica was not included in the tour...but apparently everyone else was as we were the only group that didn't. You would think that it would have been offered as an upgrade when we checked in, but it wasn't.

Different versions of our Vatican experience are available, some including the Basilica and others covering only the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, and we always try to make these differences as clear as possible before the visit.
We also understand your disappointment in seeing other groups continue to the Basilica and feeling that an upgrade could have been offered at check-in. Upgrades depend on availability, timing and operational conditions on the day, but we regret that this possibility was not discussed with you or explained more clearly.

Try to book your own tickets. Overpaid escort to get you in. Not really sure it’s worth it. Had to do it because tickets through the Vatican were sold out.

You purchased a skip-the-line experience designed to make access to the Vatican Museums smoother and easier, particularly on very busy days when official tickets may already be sold out.
Our service includes the preparation and printing of the official entrance tickets, assistance from our welcome staff at the meeting point, guidance through the check-in and entrance process, and priority access that allows you to avoid the regular ticket-purchase line, which can often involve very long waiting times and can be especially tiring in the heat.
Our team remains available throughout the process to answer questions, provide practical information, and assist guests in reaching the entrance as efficiently as possible.

They charge you 3x the price of the fast past tickets and entry. A $200 surcharge for a family of 4. They printed my tickets with the price. Was 80 euros which is $130cad. They charged me $350. No additional services warrant this price and we didnt even get the do it yourself guide youd get if you purchased tickets directly. Instead they tell you to download an app when u arrive...but if u didnt bring headphones your out of luck. No they didn't advise to bring in advance

We met a tour guide and skipped the line and were walked right into the building and left us there to roam as we wish. Audio devices are available for rent however, if the Sistine chapel is all you want it do then walking through the museum is a must, since each room lends to the next and the Sistine Chapel is at the end.
FYI
This ticket doesn’t include the St. Peter’s Basilica ( which is free) but skip the line pass is needed to enter the church. Without the pass the line is an a 2 hr wait. This must be purchased on site at a tent outside the the basilica. Best excursion of the trip!.

Process to get the ticket was easy. As part of a large group, we were led through the three check points in the tour group line. But once inside we were on our own. It was so hot, I would not want to be in a tour group, stopping so much to listen to a guide! Haha! We used the museum's audio guide.

Our guide Julia was fantastic!!! She was funny, friendly, so nice and patient with our group of 6 very hot NY’ers lol. We wound up cutting our tour short because of the heat, but absolutely no fault of Julia. Would recommend this tour a million times but if it’s hot, bring fans and water!

Such a great experience in Rome. We were a family with teen son, plenty to do and see. We weren’t told but women you need to cover shoulders in the chapel otherwise you will need to purchase a pashmina for €5 …. From a seller.

Our tour guide Aphrodite was so kind and very informative! She did a wonderful job with information, answering questions and making sure we had plenty of time for photos. We did the second part of the tour was a little faster paced walking wise with Andre (I think his name was) but he was also very kind, funny and informative. While touring in the collosium an older lady slipped on the stones, which are very smooth, and fell facedown but luckily did not hit her face. Three people from my group helped her husband stand her up but I say this to warn about the stones on the ground. BE CAREFUL! I definitely slipped but caught myself before falling down. Overall highly recommend tour and very much worth the money!

For general work of the experience, I would suggest while folks are there 15min early you allow them to download the audio guide and offer instructions in multiple languages instead of doing that outside.

There is very little air conditioning in the summer. If you book the last tour of the day, make sure you get into Sistine Chapel as soon as possible, so you have time to enjoy.

Arrive 15 minutes before hand to check in. He walks you through all the gates in skip line. Then off on your own or listen independently to a guide(virtual). I think I would rather see St Peter’s over sostenes chapel. Long walk to get there. Next time definitely choosing St. Peter’s.
