- It is difficult to anticipate when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. Typically, major attractions experience long queues during peak travel periods such as summer, weekends, Christmas, Easter, and local holidays. By purchasing a skip-the-line ticket, you can bypass the queue if there happens to be one. Unfortunately, it is impossible to predict specific days and times when lines are likely to form.
- To ensure safety, all visitors are required to pass through metal detectors at the security checkpoint. Please anticipate a wait time of approximately 20-30 minutes to clear security.
- In order to enter the Sagrada Familia Basilica, visitors are expected to dress appropriately as it is a Catholic church. Tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts, or sandals are not permitted. Additionally, visitors are not permitted to enter the church wearing clothing intended for celebrations or festivities.
- Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
- Customers must bring an ID to prove their age. If you cannot show the correct proof of age, Sagrada Familia will not allow entry, and you won't be able to get a refund.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers

It’s not really skipping the line. There is a lot of waiting for people to arrive and it’s too hard to hear the guide. This was an outrageously expensive tour but the Sagrada Família is beautiful to look at.

Audio Guide was cheaper and included much more Information. This price was way too expensive. The guides microphone was bad and nobody understood anything he said. It was a rush and less than an hour, for 100€. Never again.

Tour guide good but not 1 1/2 hours as paid for,
Only spent about an hour in Church.

We couldn't get the Sagrada tickets online from the official website, so tried it with Viator. Our guide was on time, prompt, friendly, and answering our questions with excitement. Really liked the guided tour across this complex labyrinth of Gaudi's beautiful artwork. Thanks!

The quality of the audio was very poor and so we felt we missed a lot of what was said by the guide! We had to revert to AI to find out the history of the church! Very expensive tour for what was given !

It is an expensive tour in comparison to the tours you can buy directly from the Sagrada Família website. However you do skip the line and when everything else is sold out, it may be your only option. It was easy and the tour guide was excellent.

Myself and brother were booked on the 6.30pm tour and had a great time. There is so much history and detail inside and outside the building that the guided tour is really helpful to fully appreciate. Our guide was very friendly and incredibly positive and passionate about the Sagrada Famillia. The cathedral is impressive from the outside but amazing from the inside and you are only getting part of the experience without going inside. The late evening sun coming through the stained glass windows is incredible.

I booked a tour at 6:50pm, but was not told the basilica closes at 8. Our tour of the basilica didn’t start until 7:15. Our tour guide was very rushed and ended the tour at 7:45. Instead of 1.5 hrs, I got 30 minutes. I’m so disappointed. This was a more expensive ticket and my expectations were so much higher. The basilica is beautiful, but I wish I had a better tour.

We understand your concern regarding the duration. The 6:50 PM tour is a late-entry tour, and the Sagrada Familia has a fixed closing time of 8:00 PM. As a guided tour company, we are required to follow the attraction’s opening and closing hours, and unfortunately, we cannot extend the visit beyond the time permitted by the basilica.
Our guides always do their best to provide the full guided experience within the time available, particularly for these later-entry tours. We’re sorry if you felt that the tour was rushed or that you did not receive the experience you expected.

We arrived 20 minutes early at the Sagrada entrance. There was nobody holding a Viator sign. I asked a security guard and he told me my guide would be outside or opposite a tourist shop, around the corner. We stood outside the shop and opposite but couldn't see any signs of the guide or indication. Other companies do this very well. By chance my wife spotted a man sheltering inside the shop. She asked him about the Viator tour guide and it was him. He had a Golden tours sticker on his shirt.
In addition the sound quality on the headset was crackling and very low quality. Here's an idea - hold a clear sign up so as to communicate to your paying customers.

All the meeting point details, including the exact address, location instructions and information on how to identify our representative, are clearly provided on the booking voucher, booking confirmation and reminder emails sent to guests before the tour. We also recommend arriving at the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled tour time to allow enough time to locate the representative and complete the check-in process.
We understand that you would have preferred clearer signage, and we appreciate your feedback. We will share your comments with our team as we continuously work to improve the meeting experience for our guests.

Awful tour! Guide showed up at the last minute and was supposed to give a 90 minute tour. After 45 minutes of giving us a few minor details about the church, she ended the tour abruptly and left us all confused. Expensive and lackluster. Avoid if you can.

Incredible experience. Our guide, Alex, was very informative. The church is beautiful on its own but to understand all the hidden meanings and masterful engineering is definitely a highlight. Be prepared, even with fast entry with a guide the crowds are still immense.

My tour guide was great, knowledgeable & kind. Hearing the organ was very special. This is a gorgeous church & a must see! The tour helped me understand more. My only dislike was that I paid more for tour than others who booked a different way. It was very expensive to me ($103).

Make sure to get a guide. Huge crowds, you wont understand a thing without a guide. We had a great guide who knew the history and could interpret the various sculptures

This was my second tour of Sagrada Familia, but my first with Golden Tours. I found Golden Tours to be excellent and well worth the cost. The guide was wonderful and knowledgeable and the experience was all around smooth and enjoyable.

I had tasked my teenage daughter with making reservations for the Sagrada Familia on our trip to Barcelona. Unfortunately that meant she waited until the last moment and standard tickets were sold out for the entire month of August. This necessitated us searching for alternatives so that she would be able to see the cathedral (I had already seen it but wanted her to have the experience as well). The only option was a tour through Viator with this third party tour company (Golden Tours) for $350 for 2 people. Compared to the standard tickets of $29 per person, I thought this excessive. I had very high expectations given the price point. Sadly, this was a huge disappointment and waste of money and time. The majority of time was spent waiting to gain entrance with the group. Our tour guide was not understandable at all and gave us ZERO enlightening information about the cathedral or Gaudi. Rather, he would make philosophical comments and questions about religion. My other favorite question was: "Why did you come today? Was it to see beauty? To have a spiritual awakening? To talk to God and pray?" Another when looking at the modernist statue at the end of the cathedral, he asked "Who is this to you? Is it the future? The past? Someone you know?" I am sorry, but what?! We came for an informational tour, not a philosophical conversation about the meaning of our lives. When I asked him what the city names meant on the stained glass windows, his only response was: "These are important names of cities around the world." Yes. Why yes they are. I was looking for WHY they were included there. Not for him to basically reframe my question as a statement. Another time, he remarked the colors of the stained glass window and said, "Only the blue round window is the one produced by Gaudi himself. All others are from other architects and artists. But would you mind? Which would you prefer? I would prefer any, but you might disagree." Again, what?! I was hoping for one fact, one piece of knowledge he could impact that would make this worth it in some way but couldn't. My daughter and I wondered if we should just leave the tour as it was that useless. I have taken other tours in my life, some better than others but this was on a completely different level of bad. I feel completely scammed.

Not good. Guide did not use headset and could not understand a word. There was too much background noise to use a mic that was attached to his shirt which was at least 10 inches below his mouth.

Be ready to take lots of pictures. Bring a bottle of water. Architecture is fantastic. The museum is also nice to see after you tour the Sagrada Familia

The tour starts on time, everyone in the group was on time but if you are a couple minutes late you won't get in. The entire group must enter the Sagrada at the same time. The detail on the facades provided by our guide was fantastic, provided time for photos and when the tour concluded, we were able to remain inside the Sagrada to explore and take photos on our own time. Best time to visit is the last 2 hours the Sagrada is open when the sun is setting as it makes the stain glass look remarkable!
