Excellent Coyoacan Walking Tour!

Our guide, Deyner, was super knowledgeable and charismatic. Through his remarks and responses to our questions, he really brought the history and culture of Coyoacan (and Mexico generally) to life! And the food in authentic local settings was delicious!!! Also, the details and the context he provided about Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera helped make our visit to the Frida Kahlo Museum very rich!

We went on the tour with Tomas, Omar and Jose. They were great, informative and ran the tour well. It was a well-structured day and the facilities throughout were great. Would recommend the 5am tour as Chichen Itza wasn’t too busy. From Playa Del Carmen it’s about a 13 hour day but well worth it.

Phenomenal experience...

Phenomenal experience with a beautiful view of the sunrise, pyramids and mountains! Pilot was wonderful and expertly guided us, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. Safety is a priority and each balloon had a dedicated team watching on the ground for take off and landing.

Perfect from start to finish!

Laura was a fantastic host and guide, sharing not just her knowledge but her sense of humour as well. I was a little worried about the crowds on the afternoon tour but relaxed on arrival as there was ample space to get around and hear what Laura was saying even with those awful whistles the vendors have (please ban them Mexico). If it's sunny, don't forget your hat and sun cream as there is no shade anywhere!

Always a good time!

Customer service is always excellent, the pools and the beach are clean and beautiful (and the pools are always the perfect temperature. The drinks keep coming and the food is pretty good too. The servers are a lot of fun, and will happily dance and take photos with the guests, and they go on it of their way to make sure everyone feels welcomed and comfortable.

Unique, fun and welcoming

Daniel and Olivia were great. They took us to two taco places before the show. The first were fish tacos and the second were pork. Alternate options were cactus or mushroom tacos. We could have mezcal and beer at both places. After that, just before the show, they described the history of Lucha Libre and what happens in the ring and what the audience chants. We got masks as well. The seating location was great, not too far and not too close. We saw a handful of matches. It was incredible to see large men do backflips over the ropes. It was a great experience and they made us feel welcome to participate in this important part of their culture.

Delayed pickup

There was a mix-up and poor communication between the driver and the person I contacted at 4:30am, we were not picked up until 4:41. That was the only detail that we found a bit uncomfortable and irresponsible. Something great was that the driver had a good selection of music.

Amazing experience and the best excursion!

Cesar and his team were amazing. They communicated pick up time the day before and the morning of and we're on time. The bus was comfortable and air conditioned, very nice for the long drive. The first stop was a small shop/area to learn a little bit about the area. We did buy the Mayan Birth Certificate, which is a really neat souvenir to bring back. The crew offered water when we got off the bus at Chichen Itza, we grabbed one each, plus had our water bottles full and drank all that water, it was extremely hot there. You can rent an umbrella, which we did and we're so thankful we did. Wear comfortable walking shoes, the walk isn't bad, but you'll want to be comfortable. There are A LOT of vendors at the site, even inside the actual ruins, which was a bit distracting, but Cesar shared all his knowledge and I could have listened to him all day. In fact, I would have been happy with an all day tour at just the ruins. We did not swim in the cenote, but did enjoy the lunch and the little shops there. The stop in Valladolid was uneventful, we didn't have much time there, but it was nice to see. Cesar and his team were amazing and I highly recommend them.

We took the tour with Patricia (Pato) and it was very nice with a lot of information about the cultures and history of the places we visited and Mexico City. Our guide's recommendations on what to do and what not to do were excellent and allowed us to enjoy the experience, and her recommendation of places to eat was also excellent. We are happy and we recommend the tour and Pato as a guide!

Best day ever!

Best day ever. I was fortunate enough to have a beautiful day and we were able to go above the clouds. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Make sure you go with people that are willing to switch spots so you can get good pictures. I went the the pyramids as well. I would have liked to be dropped off closer to the pyramids entrance though. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely book!
