Perfection!

Me and my mom visited Edinburgh for her birthday and we both really wanted to go to see the castle. We immediately loved our guide Max when he called our group “team handsome” and my mom said to me “yes! We got the good one!” Absolutely incredible tour and Max was amazing, funny and respectful to both us in the group and to the castle’s history. Definitely recommend!!

Jordan was a fantastic guide who showed us a few interesting sites on the Royal Mile before we headed to the underground vaults. It was fascinating hearing how they were built and the terrible history of the poor people living there in the past. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful experience on our guided tour of Edinburgh Castle and the history of Edinburgh! Amelie was informative, enthusiastic, and incredibly knowledgeable guide. Her passion for Edinburgh’s rich history made the tour both engaging and enjoyable. She shared fascinating stories and historical details that really brought the castle and the city’s past to life. Amelie did an excellent job keeping us interested throughout the tour, and her friendly personality made the experience even more memorable. Great tour. Worth the price

First off, my flight got delayed and they were able to accommodate me by pushing out our reservation by 24 hours without charge or issues. We very much appreciated their flexibility. Our tour guide Rory was wonderful. Super knowledgeable and funny. The 2 hour tour flew by and we covered so much literally and figuratively. We got a fantastic overview of Edinburgh and Scottish history and were able to ask Rory tons of questions and for advice on where to go and what else to see. You won’t be disappointed. Strongly recommend on your first day assuming you don’t have flight delays like us. Thanks Rory!

Wonderful to go to St...

Wonderful to go to St Andrews. We are golfers and were thrilled to go to St Andrews. It is a quaint little town on the east coast of Scotland. We also enjoyed the museum of golfing and playing on the putting green. I was not impressed with the other parts of the trip like. The town of Falkland and Fife but. They were minor stops. Our driver Fitz was a good driver and guide.

Excellent tour with...

Excellent tour with Highland Experiences! The day was long, but they made every effort to make you comfortable on the tour bus and with stops along the way. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Scottish history and obviously proud of his Scottish identity - wonderful to listen to his stories and experiences. The highlight was Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle - bucket list place for us! We could easily have spent more time there. The scenery throughout the day was magnificent and a perfect way to see the Highlands if you are limited on time in Scotland.

Stunning

This is a full 12 hour day. You spend a lot of time on a bus but get plenty of stops for bathroom breaks and site seeing. The bus ride is part of the experience and the landscape and sites are well worth the experience. Do the optional cruise and castle visit at Loch Ness. Again this is a long day but the sites are stunning. We never felt rushed and our bus driver guide Jamie was fantastic and made sure everyone knew when and where to meet.

Great tour

The trip was wonderful. Holly was a great driver and guide. She was funny and had a lot of info and history to share as we visited each location. We were able to meet some heilan coo’s, see the Jacobite train passing, and more. The only part that sucked was at the stops the lines were very long for breakfast/coffee, but if you can skip that, lunch is the next stop. So I would have spent more time with the cows had I known better. The long drive on the bus did not feel very long due to the interactive driver.

Great Tour with Ingas

Great tour through the castle. Ingas was a great guide, and I learned a lot. He shared stories and pictures which brought the history to life. It's easy to walk past the buildings without a full understanding, so it is definitely recommended to have a tour to understand the history from a local.
