A gentle Scot, Kelpies, castles and Hairy Cows
A tour that proved to show how hospitable the Scots are. Paul S was our tour guide who wa lovely with the chit chat. He had a lot of historical facts of the tour sites plus he added a bit a local flavor with his tales of historical characters. Along the way Paul S suggested that we get on line to order our tickets for the visit to Stirling Castle and we were unsuccessful in obtaining tickets. When we arrived at the castle they could only take cash. We weren’t prepared as we used our credit cards for our purchases. Paul S was kind to offer to pay (which we reimbursed him later) To top this off he arranged to have my sister and I transported to the courtyard of the Stirling Castle(I have limited mobility) After touring the rooms of the castle, we weren’t prepared to driven back down to our tour bus! Felt truly royal! The tour did have a slight detour which added to the length of the tour but Paul S did not hurry us through the promised sites to see. And as the tour company is aptly named, we stop to feed Hamis and Honey, the Hairy Coos! Along with his narrative. Paul S provided us with local artist along the way.

Top Notch Wisky Tour
Our tour guide was Marty. He was extremely knowledgeable and funny. An excellent guide for our day who provided lots of insight and information on the history of Edinburgh and Scotland during our trip. We would highly recommended this tour to any whisky enthusiasts as both distilleries were excellent choices to visit.

Highlands, Pilochry and Alberfeldy
Good tour to get out of city and see the highlands. My suggestion for Viator would be to make this one stop less (skip Dunkeld) because we felt rushed at every stop except the water falls. Beautiful hike to falls. Barely had time to eat lunch in Pitlochry, which is a shame as I wanted to explore the village. Also were terribly rushed at Aberfeldy/Dewars and barely had time to do tastings. The whisky tour itself was informative and Roy was great.

Is it whiskey or Whisky?
Great experience, superb host and incredible value. I thought I knew about scotch and that my tastes were set in stone. I learnt so much that every glass I have from now on will be appreciated that much more. The bonus of a stop over at Doune castle (Outlander) was an extra treat.
