The boat departs at 20:00 and will set course to the destination where the chances of seeing the Northern Lights are the greatest. On board are a variety of warm and cold drinks for you to enjoy and keep you warm. The boat will stay with the Northern Light as long as it can take into consideration the duration of the tour. The boat will return at the same dock you departed from at 23:30. We cannot guarantee the viewing of the Northern Lights, but if you do not see the Northern Light on your first night, you will be offered a 30 % discount on a new tour on the days we have available places(A new tour is only valid once). They carefully selected our cloud free viewpoint for that night and made all their efforts to make this a memorable experiencs for the group from the campfire all the way to the tips on photoshooting. Did this tour on 15 Feb. The guide+driver, JJ, was an experienced NL hunter, who introduced us to Tromsø and the Norwegian culture. It was indeed a NL chase as he constantly monitored and received updates on the weather and cloud cover, and we changed our viewing spots accordingly. Fortunately, our final stop of the night had beautiful dancing lights. At each stop, JJ set up his camera and tripod, and took gorgeous photos for us with the spectacular background of greens and blues. Local stew and hot chocolate were served at the final stop, where we roasted marshmallows by the campfire. Best evening of my Norway holiday!

The best tour ever!!

This was such a fantastic tour! Anna and Michael were both incredible guide/driver. We got picked up an hour later due to the times of the sun setting as it’s the end of the season which was great as it gave us a higher chance of seeing the lights. We weren’t hoping to have the best light show due to the end of the season but we saw them so strong. We had a fantastic spot where we had a bonfire and ate soup. Anna and Michael actually moved our spot when a huge coach turned up so we would have a much better experience and not be disrupted which was so great of them. After we had seen the lights for a while we had some hot drinks and biscuits and then the lights came back out again. Anna explained the science behind the northern lights which was great to understand and it meant we knew why we were seeing certain colours. If anyone wants a northern lights tour you must book this one!! Thankyou Anna and Michael

This is a must do experience The dogs are so friendly and love cuddles be for you get good training on how the drive the sled and work the dogs The guides are so friendly and informative The drive is through beautiful snow covered scenery it’s a magical experience The refreshments following the sled were lovely in a big tent which had a fire and hot chocolate and cake - what more could you want All three of us loved the trip - highlight of our holiday - nature, animas, cake !!

This was an amazing hike!...

This was an amazing hike! Absolutely beautiful views and we had the best time sliding down the hills. They provided a delicious Vegan/vegetarian lunch and warm drinks. The guides Nicolas and Jens were very helpful and personable. They made sure everyone was comfortable. Highly recommend this tour!

Simon, our guide, was fantastic, and took us on a wonderful tour of the area, stopping at all the best places for photogtraphs, including an impromptu stop when we spotted a reindeer. Despite difficult driving conditions we always felt safe and were very impressed with his knowledge of Norwegian and Sami culture.

It was amazing to see the...

It was amazing to see the reindeer herd in their natural environment. It was great to be able to feed them and wander through the herd. We loved the short reindeer ride and appreciated the woollen blanket. The favourite bit for me was the free hot chocolate and biscuits which were available for the duration of the visit. We enjoyed learning about the Sami culture too.

MAGICAL Norwegian journey

This is one of the most magical experiences I have ever had! We lucked out with perfect weather for winter in Norway. Clear skies for the limited daylight we had and it was gorgeous. The boat ride out to the bay was surrounded by snowcapped mountains and the crew provided great information about the journey and the whales. Once to the spot, it was nonstop wildlife. A few people saw a mink whale! But everyone saw plenty of humpbacks and orcas. We spent plenty of time at the location and everyone was having an amazing time. On the ride back, they served delicious soup and we had snacks and beverages the entire time. On the journey back, we even got to see the northern lights, which was just a cherry on top of an already perfect day. My group LOVED this tour and I would do it again. If you are having doubts, throw them away and book this!!!
