Value worth it!

There are three must do tours when visiting Copenhagen … this is one of them! (Also do the old town walking tour and a canal boat ride.) While it is expensive (but then, so is everything in Denmark), it is well worth the value to see some exceptional sights around Copenhagen. We do lots of tours all around the world and this is one of the best we’ve ever done. Our guide, Thomas, was exceptional!

Hyggee floating on the canal

Great float around the canal with our knowledgeable Hyggee boat driver. Pointed out local intel as well as touristy stops. They had ponchos for the rain and blankets for the cold. A very enjoyable, low key ride with about 4 other sets of people, very international and enjoyable.

Tour was fantastic, Julie was awesome! IMPORTANT: Viator does not give to correct time to show up for the boat ride. It says 5:30 but that is departure time, we showed up at 5:25 and could not get on the boat as we had to first go to the kiosk to get valid tickets as the viator provided QR code is not accepted. Get there early and have a great ride!

Enjoyed the tour immensely. Kenneth was knowledgeable on history and very entertaining. He had things timed to experience activities going on at each venue. My only advice would be to skip lunch (grab something quick?) to allow for more time at Fredricksborg castle … as it is massive. It could help reviewing a map/brochure ahead of touring Fredricksborg to hit highlights.

Enjoyable tour!

I had a fun time as solo traveler on this tour. The other attendees were a lot of fun. Our guides were good, and we learned some about the city as we sampled both food & drink. I enjoyed discovering the market which was our first stop, and went back after to do some shopping. Highly recommended!

Anticipating afternoon rain, Mario rearranged the order of our stops, enabling us to view the bridge and the twisting torso clearly. An hour and a half was allowed for wandering in each city. Syster Jacobs gelato in Lund is yummy! The Historiska Museet Lund holds interesting exhibits.

Great tour and guide

A very good tour, able to see many interesting things, great value. Our tour guide/bus driver, Mustafa, was very friendly and considerate, and did a great job explaining the sites. However, the seats on the bus were very cramped, with little legroom, so tall people, beware: it will be uncomfortable riding on the bus.

It is an easy well paced...

It is an easy well paced walking tour. The guide pointed out many sights for us to visit later along with taking us around to many places. Guide was well informed and could answer our questions. He was loud enough for all to hear and not only knew history of places he was showing us but also Copenhagen history. If I had any complaint it was I would have liked to see inside a few places we just observed from the outside. I don’t believe it would have extended the tour by too much.

Do not miss

Received a letter day before with more details, which was great. Vin was on time. Bus was new & clean. Provided bottled water. Good air-conditioning and sound system. Used a cool AI technology that was very informational. Plenty of time at each site as long as you manage it well. He pointed out every bathroom opportunity and coffee, snack, and food opportunities. He gave suggested routes so you can manage your time well. Our guide was friendly and treated everyone well. This is a very physical tour but well worth it. Per other people’s suggestions, I took a hand towel to put my feet in the water at the bottom of the cliff and it helped to cool down after the long trek down the hundreds of steps.
