As a solo traveler, finding an experience that feels genuinely inclusive without being forced can be tough. Our guide, Kevin, was great—friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job bringing the group together and making everyone feel welcome. The tour itself was fantastic and incredibly generous. There was an absolute abundance of delicious food and drinks throughout the evening. You need Happy Sam as Guide!

The starting point is easy to reach by public transport. That is how it should continue for the whole trip. The trip is well organized, the travel times are short, and the stays are planned with sufficient time. Our guide Happy Sam, however, is really to be highlighted especially for this. It was immediately noticeable that Happy Sam always had an eye on everyone and took time for everyone, for everyone! Every second, Happy Sam was intent on making it as pleasant as possible for us; that went far beyond a normal guide! Sometimes I was of the opinion that we must have had several tour guides. His physical fitness made some of us younger ones look old. :-) Happy Sam not only provided us with a lot of information about the trip/tour, but also gave us a day with a lot of good humor. Above all, fun is the program; the good humor and zest for life of Happy Sam gave us a wonderful day. Happy Sam is absolutely to be recommended! Definitely try to get a tour with him. No other guide has been so perfect so far!

A Must Tour

The pick up time for this tour was 5:30 but being picked up from my hotel made it worthwhile. Joo-Ee was a great guide and made an already interesting trip even better by providing a lot of historical information and lighthearted jokes. By being so early we were able to secure tickets also for the 3rd Tunnel rail and had the Suspension Bridge all for ourselves. A full on day and a must tour while in Seul.

We had a wonderful all-day private DMZ tour with Joseph and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Korea. Joseph was kind, personable, and really took the time to get to know our family. He has a great personality and made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. His English was excellent, and he did a fantastic job explaining the history of the DMZ and the relationship between North and South Korea. He gave us just the right amount of background and made everything easy to understand. One of the things we really appreciated was how many pictures and videos he took of our family throughout the day. It was such a nice touch and gave us some great memories without us having to worry about constantly taking photos ourselves. Joseph made the experience feel very personal and never rushed. By the end of the day, it felt like we had spent the day with someone we knew rather than just a tour guide.
