Great Wall Made Easy

Jim was incredibly helpful, from picking us up from the hotel lobby to navigating the lines, including cable car and tickets, and even guiding us though several of the towers at Mutianyu, though we chose the driver only package. The ride included water bottles and fresh fruit. Jim is very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.

Must do tours in Beijing with the top tour guide!!!

Maggie was an outstanding tour guide for our Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, and Great Wall tour. I visited with my son, and she made the entire day engaging, smooth, and genuinely memorable for both of us. She was upbeat, personable, and exceptionally informative, bringing the history and significance of each site to life without ever making the experience feel overwhelming. Maggie managed the logistics seamlessly while still giving us plenty of context, helpful tips, and time to appreciate the incredible places we were visiting. Anyone coming to Beijing should absolutely sign up for this tour—and I would strongly recommend requesting Maggie specifically. Terrific day! Lucy was...

Terrific day! Lucy was our guide and she was fantastic. Communication was superb and the trip was well organised. Lucy was in touch the night before to introduce herself and clarify timing (I chose hotel pickup), etc. Generally, I prefer to travel on my own but I am so so glad that I chose a group for this one. Navigating tickets and logistics and shuttle busses seems like it would be a challenge. The day was quite flexible and Lucy was very clear explaining our options - for example the slide had a 90 min queue so you could go down by chairlift or walk up to the other cable car if you wished. There was loads of time to walk wherever you wanted and the bus was blissfully well air conditioned (also had a fridge and a coffee maker!). Definitely recommend this trip. Bring sunscreen, drink water (she had some on the bus) and if you’re lucky you’ll get Lucy!

Fantastic tour with an excellent guide

We had a fantastic experience on this tour! Our guide Eddie was excellent, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the day. We especially loved visiting the fishing village and taking the cable car, which had amazing views. Recommend this tour if you have limited time to spend in Macau and wanted to get a favour of the country. Our guide Cisco was excellent in telling us stories and history about the places we had visited. Especially the drive, seeing the different casinos and some of the feng shui principles of the Chinese casinos, before going into the Venetian Casino as our final stop. Being a smaller group (there was only 5 of us) Cisco was able to spend more time in answering questions the group had. The included buffet lunch was excellent at the Metropark Hotel, however it seems to be the main place for other tour companies to bring their groups for lunch.

Do it!

From beginning to end, the company is great. Communication from the moment you book until the tour is complete. They pick you up in a very nice and comfortable car and point out cool information along the way. The organization and planning was multi-level. The location was a great choice and the boat was an awesome cherry on top. I recommend doing the dinner option, the food was very tasty. I had a great time doing this as a solo adventure but I am sure with loved ones, you will have a blast!!

Very fast paced tour

All but one person was picked up at a central hotel. We travelled to another pick up point to pick up this one person who was not there. We must have waited at least 12 mins for the lady to turn up - I think this is unacceptable as it wasted valuable time. After 5 mins we should have moved on without her. The time allowed at the top of Victoria peak was too long, but may be reliant on the return tram Times? The walking parts of the tour were very fast paced with no time to stop, look or take photos. We do not recall visiting the Upper Lascar Row Antique St Market. If we did we certainly did not stop there. We were shown around the central police station, again at a very fast pace, tho we had about 40mins there to look around ourselves after the quick show around. I was particularly looking forward to seeing Pottinger St, and taking photos of the artwork, but somehow missed it! My partner advised it was pointed out as we were walking past the 100 yr old trees on Hollywood Rd. No stopping anywhere!! The Tsim Sha Tsui culture experience turned out to be a hard sell for duvet blankets! Very misleading itinerary information. The boat trip around the harbour was relaxing. The dinner at Tim Ho Wans was exceptional. The highlight of the tour. The tour guide did her best to cover everything in the itinerary but we were expecting to actually have time to ‘see’ everything, not a quick look as we hurriedly passed by. Perhaps the tour itinerary needs to be reduced to ensure a quality experience.

Wing Men Rocks!

Wing Men (Grace) was our tour guide and what a treat she was! Grace was an energetic educator. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent together. We learned about the history of Hong Kong (HK), the uprising of the city, as well as the relationship between HK and mainland China, etc. The tour was well structured, while on a constant move, we never felt rushed. Grace was well prepared and took the time to share information. She even brought a binder with photos, and her purse is filled with little surprises for demonstration, such as an ancient HK coin, different HK banknotes and HK resident card. Grace answered questions with thoughtfulness and carried conversations in a lively manner. She made sure to engage with everyone individually and never left anyone behind. My husband and I really enjoyed getting to know Hong Kong with Grace. We believe a great tour guide makes a huge difference in your visit to a new city/country. Also, the cost of the tour is extremely affordable. You’ll get your money’s worth and way beyond. We highly recommend touring with Wing Men (Grace)!
