Ploy Wasa Brilliant Guide
Fantastic introduction to Laos food and Ploy was an excellent guide with a great local knowledge. Massive selection of snacks and a massive full meal. Includes drinks. Driver was also excellent. Can’t thank Ploy enough for all the ideas for the rest of our stay. 100% recommended and great value.

Seeing sights, with insight
This was essentially a walking tour of Luang Prabang, with an added visit to a beautiful series of waterfalls about 30 km away. My guide was a former Buddhist monk from a highlands tribe who provided great insight into how Laos is culturally "put together" among the various population groups. He was also easily able to relate the stories behind the temple displays, and explain the meaning of the rituals performed there.

Good tour
We visited 3 temples, the victory monument and budda park. The guide Thom was a nice lady and eager to answer as many questions as were asked of her. A great way to see the sights and learn not only about the sights but day to day life such as education and healthcare

Great insight into Vientiane
I did this tour with my dad and really enjoyed it. Jack was our guide and he was prompt and friendly. We enjoyed his insights and our conversations with him where we got a sense of the local way of life. The grilled meats were our favourite but we tried and enjoyed everything! This is a great tour to sample the local fare (esp the local night market) vs do tourist things. Thank you Jack and our lovely tuk tuk driver for a wonderful evening!

You will not be disappointed if you choose this tour guide.
We have done a number of short tours recently, but this one was the best.
Mr Boun was an amazing tour guide...he was friendly, helpful and had great knowledge that he imparted on us as the tour progressed. It was never rushed, but also never dragged. The pace was perfect. The tour covered a range of activities and even when going through the local markets he told us a great deal about all the different ingredients and also gave us advice about not buying the pairs of 'lucky birds' in little cages to set free, because all that did was encourage people to go out and catch them again the next day. We learnt a lot of little things that never appear in guide books.
I could never commend Mr Boun too highly and happily recommend him to everyone.

A very beautiful...
A very beautiful experience kayaking on the Mekong River.
Visiting and swimming at the waterfalls was stunning.
A walk through a traditional village was also a lovely experience.
A compact package that has it all and is ideal for those who only have a few days available.

One of the best tours I have done in my 8 years living in SE Asia
Toun is an amazing guide and frankly you should be happy to have him as a guide in Laos no matter what or where you are going! This food tour was one of the best tours I have done in my 8 years living in SE Asia, and I already eat as a local. You really get to try absolute everything worth trying in a small window of time and the only challenge you will have is to fit it all. Every single dish is high quality and enjoyable. If I would recommend one thing to do in Luang Prabang this is the one, the waterfall that everyone fixates about comes only 2nd place. Thanks again Toun and wish you the best with everything!

Best tour ever
This was a great value, full day trip with lots of different elements.
2 hours to enjoy the waterfalls, whether you wanted to climb 250 odd steps to the view (where you could also do a zipline for $30), or spend time viewing the bears in the sanctuary, or simple stay on ground level enjoying the spectacular falls, amazing.
Then a long drive for lunch where elephants from the sanctuary were frolicking. Lunch and drinks were superb, with freshly barbequed meats and a host of other stuff. Then an opportunity to meet the elephants before boarding the boat. The cave stop was ok, and whiskey tasting a nice experience and the cruise was very chilled and gave an opportunity to chat to the great group i was lucky to be with.
The stop at the "traditional minority village" was awful in my opinion, at least give some insight into their lives rather than frog-march us on a pathway round it with Mothers and children begging us to buy from their stalls.
The morning guide was also very difficult to understand but the afternoon one much better.
Despite those very minor gripes it was an awesome tour!

Excellent!
We had an absolutely excellent day visiting Kuang Si Falls. The experience began with a prompt pick-up from our guesthouse, followed by a relaxing morning cruise along the Mekong River. Our first stop was at a local rice farm, which was both informative and enjoyable a great cultural introduction to the day.
From there we continued on to the Falls. Pany handled all the entrance formalities seamlessly, allowing us to sail straight through the gate without any delays.
The Falls themselves were magnificent. The climb to the top certainly provided a good workout, followed by a 3km hike to the restaurant, but every step was worth it. Lunch was simple but good, and we had plenty of time to swim in the turquoise pools, explore the springs, and simply relax in the beautiful surroundings before heading back down.
We returned to the boat via electric cart and minibus, and the sunset cruise along the Mekong was truly spectacular a perfect and peaceful way to end the day.
A special mention must go to our guide, Pany, who was outstanding. He was patient, knowledgeable, and great fun to be around. He also captured photos and videos throughout the day and kindly shared them with us via WhatsApp, which was a lovely touch.
I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Luang Prabang.

Must do in Luang Prabang
This was an amazing experience. The farm is beautiful, nestled against the mountain. You learn all about organic rice farming and get to participate. Johnny, our guide was very knowledgeable and told us family stories. Planting, harvesting and cooking rice is a long process - most which I had no idea about before today. I highly recommend this tour!

The tour was great. I was...
The tour was great. I was by myself and so it was a very personal experience. My guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We went at my pace. And saw the best sights in Vientiane. Had lunch at an authentic Lao restaurant. I learned so much about Lao history and experienced the culture, first hand. It was everything I hoped for.
