Suyang was an incredible guide and chef. He told us all we wanted to know about the fish market, provided all the food and drinks and made us feel right at home. The menu was deliciously prepared fusion fish and shrimp dishes and Korean snacks and appetizers. We also got to try some Korean drinks. He was always friendly, patient and understanding, since we had an infant with us. We asked for recommendations and he provided us with plenty, even sending us all the map locations and checking whether a particular restaurant would be open the following day by calling. It was a wodnerful experience and we would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you, again, Suyang! Next time we'll definitely book your cooking class!

A few tourists and a of locals. An experienced local guide, which steers you through her very big seafood market and helps to choose the food which will be then cooked in the first floor. The first floor is a big restaurant. Anytime again thank you very much.

We did the market tour and meal serving. Suyang is very knowledgeable about Busan markets and seafood in general and gave us loads of great tips for places to eat in the city. The meal he cooked for us was absolutely delicious, especially the fresh scallops. Highly recommended!

Thank you for joining me on my seafood tour. As you know, the most important thing in making delicious food is to prepare it with fresh ingredients. I purchased scallops from Jagalchi Market and steamed them briefly to ensure you could enjoy their fresh flavor. I sautéed the shrimp over high heat in a sauce everyone will love. I added a little butter at the end of the grilled fish to ensure you could enjoy the tenderness of the meat and the crispiness of the fish skin. Thank you so much for enjoying all the dishes I served.

After the market tour, we moved to a dining area with a terrace and I prepared a seafood meal for you and your family. Since there were a total of 4 people in your family for dinner, I was able to provide a variety of dishes for dinner. I also served many kinds flavors of soda for your family, a popular drink in Busan. I was very happy that you and your family enjoyed my food without leaving a single bit. We were hosted by Suyang Chang and enjoyed an interesting tour of Korean seafood market followed by a seafood feast cooked by Suyang. Seafood market is huge with a stunning view of harbour on the top. Seafood dinner is delicious with a wide selection of sea urchin, sashimi, crab, scallop, shrimp, fish. The most delectable seafood I had in Korea. Highly recommended and an opulent orchestration of gastronomic success!

My husband and I found this to be a really unique way to experience enjoying the local seafood. Our guide was chatty and showed us around the market, giving interesting facts. The food was very tasty! I would recommend showing up hungry as we started eating from about 5 pm and continued for 3 hours.

Such an excellent experience! The Busan fish market is huge and fascinating, and Suyang made it so accessible. Suyan’s English is impeccable, and he provided so much helpful information, answered all of my many questions, and afterwards made a 5+ course dinner—from scratch! Everything was delicious, and I was thrilled to learn from Suyang. I’d highly recommend this to anyone touring Busan.

Peter is not only a great cook but also a funny and well spoken guide! We got a lot of interesting insights on the fish market in Busan and also answers to all our food and Korea in general related questions. The location was great as it provided awesome views over Busan.
Peter prepared various sea food dishes which were all absolutely delicious!

When grilling red fish(blackthroat seaperch), I added a little butter to improve the taste. I put a lot of mushrooms in the abalone and stir-fried it with butter. Amazing evening trekking through the market to pick out our meal (pro tip: just go with whatever he suggests) before sitting around the table with friends old and new, enjoying the view and the soju while being served a decadent, fresh, and delicious dinner. Highly recommend this experience!

We first went walking along Gwangalli Beach for some photo taking. Then we went to a market to see and buy local seafood. From here, we went back to the host's home where he cooked the seafood. Really good time and I got to try food I never seen before. Highly recommend!

Thank you for taking part in my seafood tasting activities. It was a wonderful experience that people from Europe, Oceania, and Asia could meet through this activity. As I had already said during the experience, there was very little contribution I had made to the taste of delicious food. The freshness of seafood itself was the secret to taste.
There are many "must taste seafood" in Korea.I would like to introduce Dokdo's shrimp from Korean seafood. When President Trump visited Korea, he also tasted Dokdo shrimp. If you have a chance, please try Dokdo Shrimp in Korea and have a great time until you leave Korea.

On this tour we tour the local beach and then toured the local wholesale fish market. Paul gives some background about the fishing community and the types of fish that can be found at the market. The guide also explains about how to buy fish at the different markets and what to look for. Very informative.
After buying fish, we headed to Paul's house, where he taught us how to prepare the fish.
We were able to try some unique seafood and enjoy the company of other guests.
