This might be the best tour I've taken in Korea. Suyang was beyond knowledgeable and answered all of my many questions around Korean culture and history, even outside of Busan topics. I also think I was able to see spots in Busan that I would not have gotten to on other tours. Finally, Suyang has an amazing sense of humor and I really enjoyed having him as a guide!

Thank you for joining my walking tour. Many people mistakenly believe that we visit all the sites on foot, but we travel to Gamcheon Culture Village, Songdo Beach, and Jagalchi Market by city bus. Gamcheon Culture Village and Jagalchi Market are the most suitable places to understand the Korean War and Busan's modern and contemporary history. I also provide historical photographs to help participants better understand the context of the past. Thank you once again for participating in my walking tour.
After changing the day for the tour I was left wondering how he is a tour guide. He has a lot of information but talks endlessly and does not engage in conversation. Responding to questions is a weakness so I stopped asking. From a different tour the next day I learned more complete and accurate information about the history of the fish market and who they sell to. At one point he talked with great negative upon about my country.

First, despite having provided information on where to meet multiple times, you called me from the wrong place. Then, you blamed me, claiming that I had not properly conveyed the information to you.
At Jagalchi Market, I explained the market's origins, past, and future. I also provided detailed information via WhatsApp regarding sea squirts and spoon worms, seafood that all customers have questions about. Naturally, evidence of this remains in your messenger.
At Gamcheon Culture Village, I explained the outbreak of the Korean War and the formation of the village. I also explained the village's present and future. However, you did not listen to me at all and kept asking irrelevant questions. There is no reason why a tour guide must live in Gamcheon Culture Village. Nor is there any reason why tour guides must know the local residents of Gamcheon Culture Village and have connections with local people.
After visiting Gamcheon Culture Village, you was provided with a drink at a coffee shop run by a local in accordance with the terms of the tour contract. You ordered hot ginger tea, but due to a clerk's mistake, cold ginger tea was served instead. In front of them, you pretended to be a generous person, forgiving their mistake by saying that cold ginger tea was fine. However, once you left the coffee shop, you rebuked them for their error. You could have just asked them to switch it to hot ginger tea in front of them, so why did you complain to me later? I clearly told you that the ginger tea served by mistake could be exchanged for hot ginger tea.
Due to the war in Iran , many people are suffering from high oil prices and rising inflation. Poor people, like those in Gamcheon Culture Village, are facing even greater hardships. Are you offended by my negative assessment of your country? I hope you should understand the hardships countless people are suffering due to the war.
Growing older means increasing your generosity in listening to others and understanding their difficult situations. Please do not forget that the lives of the people in Gamcheon Culture Village, which have become more difficult because of inflation by the war.
Suyang was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable and engaging. He had great suggestions for other places to see and eat while in Busan and stayed with us in the fish market to help us buy fresh fish and instructed the staff on how to prepare it for our lunch. Would highly recommend!

Suyang is an awesome guide! He showed up with enthusiasm and was very thoughtful and helpful throughout the tour. He has a lot of knowledge about the history of the village and the current state of affairs and never hesitates to answer our questions. It was really kind of him to also provide us with tote bags with rain gear and cooling packs in case of weather changes. Talking to him was fun and the food places he recommended were delicious. If you are looking to get good photos and visit great vantage points, Suyang knows his way!
Suyang runs a really informative tour with a great taste of Busan. Tons of recommendations throughout and a lot of interesting discussion about South Korea’s economy and tourism industry. Highly recommend for a well rounded day out in Busan!

Communication and organization with Chang, Suyang was excellent. He was early and prepared. Our group was small—it was just myself and my Fiancée—which made the tour much more personalized and unique. Suyang answered all of our questions and provided a lot of historical context for the history of the Gamcheon Cultural village as well as the country of Korea.
The walking was wonderful as it was a sunny day. We walked all over the village and Suyang offered to take pictures for us. The coffee break was welcomed as it was hot. The iced ginger latte was delicious but very sweet so others may not enjoy that.
The Fish market was incredible to walk through. Suyang also provided great history as we walked through the market.
All in all, this tour was exactly what my fiancée and I were looking for—a personalized historical experience with a tour guide who wa honest and answered all the questions we had and even answered questions we didn’t know we had.

Thank you very much for arranging your Busan cruise visit with my walking tour. We met at Exit 4 of Busan Station at 9:00 AM, took the subway to Jagalchi Station, and then transferred to a minibus to visit Gamcheon Culture Village. At Gamcheon Culture Village, I arranged a separate time for souvenir shopping according to the customers' requests. And we enjoyed a drink at the coffee shop run by the elderly in Gamcheon Culture Village to help them for senior people job project. And according to the tour schedule, we visited Songdo Beach and Jagalchi Market. Thank you for arranging your precious time with my walking tour.
We had a great time and highly recommend this excursion to others. We learnt abit of the history and enjoyed the beautiful of Busan.

This was such a wonderful experience. Our guide was hilarious and super knowledgeable. We learned so much and had a fabulous time. This tour will take you through the Gamcheon village and through the famous fish market in Busan. You'll take buses and taxis to get to your destinations, all coordinated by your amazing tour guide. I think that might have been my favorite part - I love taking local public transportation, but it can be overwhelming to know what bus to catch and when to get off - our tour guide handled everything! This was one of our favorite tours in all of our travels!

In Gamcheon Culture Village, I drank a drink at a coffee shop where the elderly worked for government elderly people self reliance project. Terrible. I could make the tour because they would not respond in a timely manner. This is the first tour I’ve ever paid for on Viator, where the host would not give me their contact number or whatsapp. They give you no means of contact besides the app, which they do not check in a timely manner
