This was an outstanding tour and one of the highlights of our trip to Jeju. If you’re looking for an active, immersive experience rather than simply driving from stop to stop, this is the perfect tour. There is quite a bit of walking, so wear comfortable shoes, but it’s absolutely worth it.
One of the most memorable stops was the black volcanic beach where the haenyeo (women divers) gave a diving demonstration. The scenery looked like something straight out of Jurassic Park—dramatic black lava rock against crystal-clear turquoise water. Even standing on the shore, we could see vibrant marine life beneath the calm, transparent water. Watching the haenyeo dive for just 10 minutes and emerge with fresh seafood was amazing and really showcased their incredible skill. It made us imagine how spectacular snorkeling there must be.
Hamdeok Beach was another highlight, with its stunning white sand and brilliant blue water. It’s easily one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve visited.
The visit to Manjanggul Lava Tube was unlike anything we’ve experienced before. Walking through the ancient lava cave was fascinating, and the naturally cool temperature was a welcome escape from Jeju’s hot, humid summer weather.
Overall, this tour offers an excellent mix of nature, culture, and adventure. If you don’t mind walking and want to experience some of Jeju’s most breathtaking sights up close, I highly recommend it. It’s a fantastic way to truly appreciate the island’s unique beauty.

Steven was very organized and managed the group well to get us to all the sites in a timely manner. I was not expecting to enjoy the folk village as much as I did. I think that was the best part of the tour.

Our guide Chloe was wonderful - she gave 110% for the entire tour. We would not have been able to explore the eastern part of the island without her, as she gave great background for all our stops while making the tour itself fun and immersive. She really made our introduction to Jeju delightful!

I had a full day with Chloe who masterfully guided our group to the 5 stops: all delightful. The lava tube was spectacular; the folk village: a living tribute brought even more alive by the wonderful & witty village Master who studied English on his own to be able to showcase his culture to foreign visitors-bravo!; learning about the lives & history of the Haenyos was an inspiration; Seongsan Ilchulbong (sunrise peak) has to be experienced and the Han Deok beach was simply gorgeous.
Chloe gave us historical, geographical & socio-cultural perspectives on Jeju & its people: you can tell how much she knows & loves this Island and sharing it with her guests. That's really to be celebrated.
The tour was thorough, the bus was very comfortable, our driver Mr. Kim so warm and we had enough time at each stop. I loved how Chloe adapted the programme to suit the weather; her clear explanations, her humour and the lunch (a feast!). I can only say I hope you get her as your guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Jeju island. Sam was the best tour guide I have had since Ive been with Viator. While he was only a "freshman tour guide", he imparted a wealth of information about JeJu island that showed his love of the history, lifestyle and people who live here. I appreciated his pretour communications and how well everything throughout the day was organized and well run. We were able to see all the highlights of the east side of the island without feeling rushed. I enjoyed the Hanyeo demonstration and the tour of the historic village. The King/Town Master was informative as well as entertaining. Lastly the lunch and stop at the beach for coffee and peanut bread was a nice end to the tour. I would like to have Sam as my guide on the next tour!

This was an excellent tour, with a fantastic guide in Peter. We were picked up on time, had plenty of time in each stop, and Peter gave us lots of useful information and stories about Jeju. The highlight of the trip was climbing up to the top of Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak), to see the crater, and views of Jeju. We also really enjoyed meeting 'King Wwangbali' at the Jeju cultural village - he was very funny. The lunch stop was also well organised. Overall we really enjoyed this day tour and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Jeju.

The lava cave can get cold and wet, so need a hat and warmer clothing. However the hike to the summit can get hot and sweaty so need to pace yourself and no need for warm clothing. Our guide Chloe speaks very good English and excellent in telling us the stories and directions.

I visited Jeju Island with my mom and sister- and we absolutely adored it! Jina was our tour guide, and she was so kind and charismatic. She knew her history and clearly had a great respect for the culture on the island! We were so fortunate to be able to witness the haenyeo women divers and experience a real cultural village - definitely worth it. A full itinerary so be prepared to be tired at the end of the day, but every stop made me feel like I really got to immerse myself in the island culture. Highly recommend and would go again!

Jeju is a big island, something we realised after coming here. This tour gave a good coverage of Eastern Jeju. The four items on the trip were all unique.

We enjoyed this tour! Sam was a very good guide! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He kept us entertained with his interesting stories. He also kept our big group together and organized.
