Eye Opening DMZ Experience

Excellent DMZ small group tour and one of the highlights of our trip to Seoul. I'm glad we chose a small group tour as it felt like a more personalized experience. Won, our guide was personable, knowledgeable, and provided great historical context throughout the day. Everything was highly organized from beginning to end. Won was wonderful and would seek him out again if given the chance. Learning about and visiting the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel was certainly a hike but worth the effort. Note - If you are claustrophobic or have heart issues you won't want to walk all the way to the end. There is a significant steep grade with a total of around 700m (if you go all the way to the end). So glad to have the hardhats to wear as I bumped my head 7 times on the rock ceiling. The Q&A session with a North Korean defector added a unique and personal perspective especially again with the small group. On our visit to the observation tower in the DMZ, we were actually able to see North Korea which was surreal. Learning more in depth history was so enjoyable. The suspension bridge provided beautiful views and was interesting but again required significant hiking up and down. I'd highly recommended this small group tour for anyone wanting a deeper understanding of Korea's history but be prepared to walk.

This was a great tour with a busy itinerary. It starts early and is packed full of places to visit, including the DMZ, tunnels and parks. Our guide, Joo Ee, was great. She had lots for energy and provided plenty of history and perspective. A must do tour in Korea.

My family had an amazing time on this full day tour with Mimi. It’s not always easy traveling with a multi-generation group, but Mimi was very accommodating, especially with our 14 month old. You customize the tour based on your preferences and what you want to see. Mimi gave interesting facts and history of Korea both at the sites we visited but also as we were driving around the city. You should definitely do lunch at the fish market. It was delicious.

Great Cultural Experience

Lee was a fantastic guide! Her native-level English, enthusiasm, and energy made the tour **fun** from start to finish. She was incredibly attentive and made sure everyone felt included and well looked after—from the younger kids and teens to those who weren’t drinking alcohol. We tried a great variety of traditional Korean food. Don’t expect Michelin-star dining—this is all about enjoying local food and a wonderful cultural experience. We also learned some fun Korean drinking games, and the more adventurous among us tried octopus that was still moving! A wonderful experience overall, made even better by Lee’s warmth and hospitality. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful all-day private DMZ tour with Joseph and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Korea. Joseph was kind, personable, and really took the time to get to know our family. He has a great personality and made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. His English was excellent, and he did a fantastic job explaining the history of the DMZ and the relationship between North and South Korea. He gave us just the right amount of background and made everything easy to understand. One of the things we really appreciated was how many pictures and videos he took of our family throughout the day. It was such a nice touch and gave us some great memories without us having to worry about constantly taking photos ourselves. Joseph made the experience feel very personal and never rushed. By the end of the day, it felt like we had spent the day with someone we knew rather than just a tour guide. Great Tour with Hee Soo

This trip was very well run. We covered a lot of ground with Hee Soo as our guide. She was patient, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great time with her.
