a big day, 14 hrs from...
a big day, 14 hrs from Osaka, but interesting to see Hiroshima and Minyama island. Our guide Chika was amazing, explained in good english where we where and the historical significance of each site. The downside was the crowds, too many to enjoy the peace memorial, minyama island and peace park.

10/10 would go again
Our guide was very funny and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend it and if you happen to get the tour guide I did you are in for a treat (Bon Lee was my tour guide) He made sure the group was on schedule and able to see everything, and provided lots of recommendations as well as written and visual guides that were useful at all the points of interests we visited (it was a mix of temples and castles and of course the Nara Deer.

A Day in Kyoto with Japan with Christine
Japan with Christine was a wonderful experience. Our group booked a full day tour of Kyoto with her. Christine texted me several times before our tour to check on what we wanted to include. She planned a wonderful day for our group including visiting important temples and sites, time for shopping, a Geicko/ Maiko dance performance and a wonderful teppanyaki dinner. Everything was perfectly timed and coordinated taking into account everyone’s dietary needs and walking abilities. All of this was done with grace and good humor and all the information we needed to appreciate each stop. Mr Snake, our driver, was very adept at handling the streets of Kyoto and it was reassuring that he was always there to meet us when we were ready to go to the next stop. I highly recommend Japan with Christine.

We loved this food tour
We’re not the most adventurous of people with food but we tried all the dishes and the only reason we didn’t eat everything was because there was so much. It was also interesting trying different drinks e.g. sake and matcha beer. We were really lucky to have a great group and Sara our guide was so much fun and had some great stories.

Old meets new in Osaka, where you’ll find Japan’s first official temple alongside some of the most modern food, fashion, and entertainment in the country. Make sense of the contrasts by following a local guide around the city, from the neon lights of Dotonbori to the retro arcades of Shinsekai and the peaceful cherry blossom park around Osaka Castle. Food is a major draw here, which is why many Osaka tours highlight the historic Kuromon food market and nearby kitchenware district.
