Wonderful experience
My daughters, mom and brother thoroughly enjoyed this experience! Not only did we see a beautiful and talented Maiko but we learned so much. It was a lovely personalized experience. Maya our host was wonderful and communicated very well with us as well. Overall, worth every penny!

Kyoto Greatest Hits
This is a great alternative to an organized tour. You have the flexibility to adjust the order of the sites you see, the amount of time you spend in each place, and the opportunity to add (or skip) things along the way for a truly tailored experience. Hiromi expertly navigated the city and explained Japanese history and culture for a truly complete experience. She was also our personal paparazzi.... so we have many awesome photos to remember the day.

Tea Ceremony Kiyoto at Caren
Great experience. We were made to feel very welcome. Assisted in dressing in full Kimono with great attention to detail. I was expected to have photos taken on my phone by the host. Wonderful and interesting explanation of the process, which is so unique.

Gion District _ Kyoto,Japan
Michael our guide was knowledgeable and tells entertaining stories of his life story. It's great to know the ong long history way back in the 14th century and the wooden machiya merchant houses still exist to this day. He also adds the known number of Geisha's still exist with Geico's and Meico's, and one of the most interesting to know how the two is differentiated. It's very quaint little alleys, dimmer lights on the streets, bring a distinct feeling of how the town has maintained its' culture to the present time. A must visit.
