Both the Park Guell and the Sagrada Família are must sees if you are in Barcelona! Our guide, Christina, was a wealth of information about Antonio Gaudi. There’s a lot of walking and wonderful information. Alina was very passionate about the places we went to. The only thing that would have made this excursion better would have been headsets for everyone. She could be heard in the bus, as we were walking she would stop and talk, sometimes difficult to hear her. It was a very long day, but enjoyable.

Excellent tour

I am Mexican living temporarily in Madrid. Excellent tour and clear on the activities. My guides Eduardo and Laura were extremely kind and attentive. The dynamic between cities is fluid, punctual, and precise. I was clumsy and arrived late to the last meeting point, even so they worried about finding me and reuniting me with the group. Book with Viator; it takes the stress out of touring! If you are lucky enough to take this tour with Renata as your guide, you will have hit the jackpot of Sagrada Família tour guides! Her passion for the Sagrada shone through, and we learnt so much—informative, fun, and with a serious side. We thought we knew a lot about Gaudí and the Sagrada, but Renata painted a bigger picture for us to treasure, and it was a lovely memory to take home with us.

Wonderful Experience

I was able to book a tour at the last minute. Loved that it was a small group of only 26 people and we had a great guide. After the tour we were able to remain in the park and explore on our own. The only suggestion I would offer is to ask for the Wi-Fi password before you start the tour. It will definitely come in handy if you want to do any of the exhibits that have an additional fee.

Too much guest personal sharing

The Sagrada Familia for the Golden Hour was priceless -- we were lucky to have great evening light. The guide was friendly and knowledgable, but spent WAY too much time talking to guests and asking about personal experiences. I get that, overall, he was trying to connect the history and context of the cathedral to our own experiences (great for his middle school history students), but I found it frustrating and a waste of time -- I was too eager to not only get into the cathedral, but to walk around once we got inside (the organ was playing (!), but ended right when we entered. Had we not talked so much outside about personal stuff while outside, we would have heard more of the organ!). Also, I didn't really care to share, for example, my personal work history with strangers. I did appreciate the guide offering to take photos of us with our own phones inside the cathedral.

Amazing Experience!

This tour is a must! We're glad we decided to do the tour because it's one thing to walk through and see everything but it's so much better when you can hear the history! Pilar was amazing and so knowledgeable. She made sure every one of us could hear and see her as well as important items in each room. The audio devices to hear were great, makes you feel like you're alone in the room even though there's people everywhere.

The Sagrada Familia is a must!!!

The Sagrada Familia is stunning - in sunny weather, which, however, occurs in BCN on over 300 days/year. Same for us. Veronica explained everything great and was very nice (English tour). Nevertheless, the tour was very expensive, but we got the last 4 of 5 tickets on that day. Tip: book tickets in time, the cheaper tickets are often sold out 2 weeks in advance.
