What are people saying about Munich

Fantastic tour!!
I would 100% recommend this trip! Our guide, Pedro, was fantastic! We had plenty of time to see everything plus more. Pedro kept everything running smoothly while keeping us entertained and giving a great commentary along the way. The bus was very nice and comfortable. I was a little nervous about taking a large group tour, but I would absolutely do this again! Be aware that there is a good bit of walking and stairs. Pay the 3.5€(must have cash) to take the shuttle up to the castle! We walked back down and that was fine. The restaurant that Pedro recommended was very good.

Glad we did it.
Our guide, Elisabeth, was wonderful! Extremely informative and endlessly patient. The bus was very nice and clean with a bathroom. There were drinks available on board. Easy to find meet location, not far from the Starbucks which was great to get a coffee and use the free restroom for customers as we waited to start the tour. The tour was very interesting. Beautiful scenery. Learned a lot about the Eagles Nest that was different from what we thought we knew. The tour was a little long for us but we caught a nap on the bus ride home.

Amazing Stress-Free Castle Tour with an Exceptional Guide
This was an amazing tour from start to finish. Although this tour was a bit pricey, we booked it to simplify the logistics of scheduling, navigating public transportation, etc. This was especially important since we were traveling with a small group that included two 80-year-olds. We were picked up right outside our hotel, and the only thing we had to worry about all day was being ready for our pickup. Once we stepped into the comfortable, clean, and well-air-conditioned van, everything else was taken care of. What made this tour even better was our guide, Mattis. Not only did he give us fascinating information about the history of the castles we visited, but he also chatted with us about German culture, regulations, and what it was like to grow up and go to school right near the famous Neuschwanstein Castle. He was kind, helpful, and incredibly attentive to the needs and abilities of everyone in our group. In addition, he was an excellent driver, providing us with a smooth and comfortable ride while demonstrating courtesy to other pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists along the way. I have booked a lot of tours and experiences through Viator, and this was by far the best! The convenience, personalized service, and attention to detail definitely made up for the expense. Thank you, Mattis and European Castles Tours. Highly recommend!

Barbara is excellent
Our trip was fantastic from start to finish! Barbara’s storytelling was top-tier, and our driver made the ride smooth and effortless. The bus was comfortable, well-stocked with snacks, and perfectly timed. Plenty of walking at each ideal stop gave us the perfect excuse to relax during the drives. Best of all, it kept our teenagers completely engaged!

From beer hall-hopping to World War II history and food-tasting at the Christmas markets, Munich tours run the gamut of Bavarian history and heritage. Exploring the city can be done on foot, by bike, by Segway, or on a hop-on hop-on bus, and guided visits can show you a side of town only locals get to see. Most day and multi-day tours of Bavaria start from Munich, so there’s plenty to experience beyond the city limits, too. Immerse yourself in the fairy-tale scenery of Neuschwanstein Castle, visit medieval villages along the Romantic Road, or venture deep into the Bavarian Alps.
