What are people saying about Nuremberg

Kate_F, Oct 2026

Good ride, good price.

This ride was a nice, short intro to the city if you have never been to Nuremberg! It’s nice that the recorded information is available in several languages, and the train will protect you from weather if that is an issue. We enjoyed it, and the price was right.

History of the Third Reich made alive

Fantastic tour with an incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. We were picked up at our Nuremberg hotel and visited several important Nazi sites, gaining valuable insights and knowledge of the history leading to Hitler's rise. The guide's portfolio of historical black and white photos added context, and made the locations come alive. Please note, Zeppelin Field is being restored, and you won't be able to view the platform from which Hitler addressed the hundred of thousands of amassed Nazi troops. The visit to courtroom 600 was especially meaningful to me, since my father had attended the Nuremberg trials as a US soldier in 1945. I was fortunate to have in my possession a program he received on his visit and employed it to help imagine what that day must have been like for him. This tour is a MUST for anyone interested in WWII history. In fact, it ought to be a mandatory tour for everyone to help avoid repeating the mistakes of the past!

Excellent Private Tour of Nuremberg!!

This private tour was very interesting, and our guide Andrew (Kelz) did a wonderful job of explaining the history of Nuremberg both during the WW2 but also post war and current. Nuremberg has very steep streets and Andrew was very understanding and paced the tour to suit our physical condition. Visiting the Nazi rally grounds and the Palace of Justice allow us to step back in time to experience what it must have been like during the war. We love private tours since it allows a detailed view of the subject matter, as well as time to learn about the tour guide's own personal history related to the area. Thank you, Andrew, for a wonderful experience.

Amazing Nuremberg history tour!

This was a brilliant tour in so many ways. It was booked as a 3.5 hour tour and boy did it deliver! Darius was exceptional. Very bright, able to handle all questions and tilt towards the clients. We went over four hours and it was very thorough. We learned so much about Nuremberg and German history. I can't imagine a better tour, period. People should ask for Darius. He is a Nuremberg native and his passion clearly shows. Five stars plus!

Excellent, great value day out

Whilst I enjoyed the day and the tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, my only caution to the company would be to comment neutrally on modern politics. It’s understandable to have opinions, however being mindful of differing views will ensure everyone enjoys the day equally

Outstanding Tour

This was one of the best tours I have been on! Andres was very knowledgeable, happy to answer questions and connected well with everyone on the tour. He made a point of making it inclusive for non-native speakers without oversimplifying it for history buffs. His love of Nuremberg and his excitement to share to share it came through at every stop. Highly recommended!!!

Outstanding Tour: Informative and Powerful

Rob was one of the best, most energetic, and pleasant guides I have had in a long time. I would personally like to thank Rob and his tour company for helping all of us on the tour and making it happen: there was a marathon happening in Nuremberg that day, so Rob was delayed due to the unexpected traffic and road closures. Even getting a taxi was challenging. Nevertheless, the company and Rob contacted us, gave us all lots of assurance and help, and we all got started and had a fantastic tour. Rob knew a LOT about the Third Reich, Germany and WWII, and he had an excellent booklet of photos which helpfully illustrated his information. One piece of trivia I learned was that Bayer aspirin and the soda Fanta had Nazi origins--and they were my grandmother's favorites. She never took anything but Bayer and adored Fanta--she even drank it at breakfast! Rob gave us lots of important background information about the important historic spots in Nuremberg. We saw the former documentation center and Nazi rally grounds, the zeppelin field, and finally the Nuremberg Palace of Justice and the famous Courtroom 600. Seeing all these places I have read about in history classes many years ago was so important to me. Rob made it happen and told me a lot about these sights I had either forgotten or never knew. Highly recommended tour--especially the visit to Courtroom 600. The Courtroom 600 tour has a very good cheap (1 euro) audio guide and the information-museum center is quite good too.

3-Hour Tour

This was a great way to see this city and learn about its history. Despite one of the most ridiculous heat waves Europe was experiencing, we enjoyed our tour with Dimitri. There was great communication and flexibility from the tour company beforehand as we asked to adjust and allow for rest breaks during the tour due to the heat and age of my senior parents. There is never enough time to see it all but Dimitri put a great tour together and had great knowledge of the history of the city.

Highly Recommended

This tour was exactly what I was looking for, a tour of the old town, river, bridges and a view from the castle. Niklas was very informative, funny and showed he cared about his group. Walking up to the castle could prove challenging for some but Niklas made sure everyone was good. Would highly recommend this tour.

Phenomenal Tour!!!

I had an outstanding experience on this tour. We visited numerous World War II sites, important monuments, and the historic Courtroom 600, which was especially fascinating and errie at the same time. Even though I was the only person on the tour, the guide still provided a full and engaging experience with an incredible amount of knowledge and detail. As someone who loves learning about World War II history, I truly appreciated how informed and passionate the guide was. He answered questions thoroughly and shared insights that made each stop meaningful and memorable. We also stopped at a small food spot by the lake, and the food was absolutely delicious—a perfect addition to an already excellent day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in history, especially World War II history. A truly memorable experience.
