The trip was nice and...

The trip was nice and relaxing, with enough time to explore the city center and enjoy the local food. For good food, our guide and driver, Ivan, recommended his favorite restaurant, Mal Altan. However, the waiting time for a table and service was at least one hour. I would therefore recommend booking a table in advance if you want to enjoy really delicious food.

Easy transport and excellent guided tour!

This was a well-organized tour that shuttles you from Sofia to Plovdiv. The bus was well-marked at the meeting point, and the instructions sent prior to the tour were very clear. You can opt to include a guided tour of the city, which I highly recommend. Maria was a knowledgeable guide who explained the history and culture of the city in an engaging way. She took us to see multiple places but never did I feel rushed. We were then offered some free time for lunch and continued exploring. The price was very reasonable for the transport and guided tour. Very memorable!

Great guide and a beautiful monastery

Ina was a great guide, she talked about history during the ride and took great care of us during the tour. Rila monastery is very impressing and definitely worth seeing, also is placed around the beautiful scenery of the mountain's. I recommend to get on to the top of the tower to see a monastery from the higher perspective.

A walking tour like this...

A walking tour like this is a must to make sense of what you see in Sofia and other parts of Bulgaria. Joy was a perfect guide and we learnt so much about the history, culture, religion and politics of this very old country. Ideas for how we could spend the afternoon were really useful, we filled our bottles from the thermal water tap and were taken to a rather nice cafe for some proper hot chocolate. What a well-spent 2 hours in this compact historical centre. We thoroughly recommend this tour.

It was a great tour....

It was a great tour. Alexander took us safe and comfortable. Filled us with a lot of history. Definitely a reliable option to go. I booked a tour on booking.com and they cancelled it last minute and I quickly booked this one on Viator. Unfortunately we could not hike upto the Rila lakes due to the bad weather and the snow storm. Will come back again next year, May or September to do the tour again with this company.

The tour was good - we...

The tour was good - we got the audioguide one and it was interesting enough. We didn't enter Boyana as it was similar to other we've seen before, but the Rila Monastery was good. I just think 3h in there is too much. It is really small and nothing to do. 2h would be good enough.

Amazing experience! The nature was absolutely beautiful - especially the Krushuna waterfalls, which were breathtaking. Our guide was really nice and shared a lot of interesting information throughout the trip. Everything was well organized, and it was a great way to explore some of Bulgaria’s hidden gems. We loved this trip!...

We loved this trip! Alexander was so informative and interesting to talk to. He is clearly very smart and enjoys sharing his passion for history. Plovdid is such an interesting place! The two hour tour was a good overview but I need to come back and spend a week next time. Rila monastery was beautiful but an hour was plenty of time there. If you have limited time like we did, this was a great way to see two of the best bulgarian sights.

Super organized tour and would highly recommend to everybody!

Philip’s communication before the day and via the WhatsApp group was incredibly helpful. Phillip texted us throughout the day with reminders of timing and it made the entire experience feel extremely organized, well thought out and attentive. I also really like the fact that we were in a small bus van, and we purposely arrived an hour after the big bus companies at the monastery so this way, we could have a much more quiet and authentic experience. We were also given paper maps of the hiking trails and also of the monastery, which made for a very easy day to get around. I encountered other people on the mountain trails from the big bus companies and they were given basically no guidance and ended up asking for my help since I had a map from this company. I was very impressed and would absolutely recommend this trip and company to everybody.

Was a great experience, we were picked up from our accommodation in Sofia and given clear instructions for how the day would work. We arrived in North Macedonia to a two hour walking tour to see all of the city. This was in forty degree heat so make sure you have plenty of water, hats and sunscreen. After we had lunch and went to Kosovo for dinner and a good nights rest. You had plenty of time in the morning to explore before heading back to North Macedonia where were picked back up and dropped into Sofia once again. All the guides were amazing and made us feel so welcome.
