A great experience

It was a great tour, I would highly recommend. Our guide was knowledgeable and a lovely person to guide us. The timetable was a good pace. I found the accommodation and meals of a good standard. I thought overall the tour was great value. Having anotherarge group join us on day 3 was not great. It was very disruptive.

Our driver Andreas was on time and in the right location. He drove us to a Olympia and explained about olives and what we were seeing along the way. He loaned us a book about the ancient site and helped us get our tickets to the museum and grounds. He waited for us nearby and then drove us to a great cafe in the nearby town. We then went to Oilympia for a tasting and back to town to shop and get back on the ship. His accent was heavy but very understandable

Our driver, Andreas, was great at communicating, contacting me 2 days before arrival. He also used a microphone so everyone could hear. He dropped us at the Olympia ticket office and we spent 2 hours there. Then we customized the rest of our trip. We had a leisurely lunch and then went to an olive oil mill. It was interesting and delicious. His assistant, Chris (his son), was very attentive. If we were to do this again, we would hire a guide at Olympia to explain everything .

A member of our party had some mobility issues and both George and Tina did a wonderful job navigating the sites so we didn’t have to push the wheelchair further than we needed. Amazing day!!

We toured Olympia, a local honey farm, an olive oil farm and a local winery as a part of our experience. The time spent at the honey farm and especially the winery felt more like spending time in a family home with local hosts than it did a tourist experience; it was beyond fantastic and felt completely authentic (because it was)! The whole experience was seamless, easy, convenient, and comfortable. A wonderful and unforgettable experience!

Great trip

Olympia was amazing. It’s a far drive from Athens, but we felt it was worth it. There are three museums to see in the town and we misunderstood and thought we were doing one after lunch but we left for Athens after lunch. So we missed the Olympic museum that isn’t near the other ones. Our lunch was delicious. Beautiful day all the way around.
