Will was great and knowledgeable. I experienced several places I would not have otherwise found. If you want to learn more about chocolate and experience it in different ways then I recommend you try this tour.

Taste the fudge

Neil_C, May 2026
It is an outside tour. Wear warm clothes if weather is rainy or mild. We found places to shelter. The chocolate is worth it though!

A great experience if you love chocolate. Very educational as well.

EdH, May 2026
We booked the chocolate walking tour on short notice (the day before). It was a very enjoyable walking tour with so many sampling opportunities that you lose track of how many types of chocolate you’ve had. Will was a great tour guide. I’d recommend this tour to anyone unless you have any mobility issues as there is a lot of walking and a few BIG hills to go down and up again.

It was a fun experience with the kids and a great way to spend time together. The walking helped burn off some calories too.

Unique experience!

Camille_B, Feb 2026
Great tour if you enjoy a variety of chocolate treats and want to explore Pike Place. Ivy was fantastic, she provided so much information and was just a delight to chat with.

Tasty and informative!

Ameya_P, Jan 2026
It was not just an informative chocolate tour, our host also told us stories about Seattle. Keep in mind though that it requires a long walk of around an hour and half with intermittent sitting at cafes and sweet shops. Overall very good experience

What a treat it was to experience this walking tour as a family. Our guides were informative, engaging, and adapted the experience well for our kids. I loved the way our tour guide Will explained how we sometimes connect flavors with experiences we’ve had & use many creative analogies to describe the differences we taste. We made some bold new choices & practiced letting the flavors develop. Highly recommend!

It was just the 2 of us and Ivy, our guide. She was great! Gave us a lot of history of chocolate, Seattle, Pike's Place and the vendors we visited. We had cookies, donuts, hot chocolate and Fran's world famous chocolate to name a few.

Wonderful guide!

Danielle_K, Oct 2025
Ivy was lovely. She gave us some of the history of the shops that we visited and gave us great recommendations for gifts to bring home to my daughters. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

Ivy was a great guide. Chocolate top notch!

Jon_B, Oct 2025
Ivy was fantastic! A very knowledgeable connoisseur of the cacao plant! Not all places on the itinerary may be visited, but every one is a treat! Cookies, hot chocolates, gelato, donuts, tart, & tiny chocolates of course! Seven places and 9 items. If you love chocolate, this is your tour!

Chocolate high

Eric_H, Sept 2025
Awesome tour. We were on a chocolate high afterwards. Ivy was fantastic and she was very knowledgeable about the local environment and about chocolate in general.

Great Guide

Wayne_H, Sept 2025
The chocolate was good, but the guide was better. My husband fell the day before and was struggling to keep up. Guide found a quiet place and he brought the chocolate to us. Great experience.

Great chocolate tour

Raquel_V, Aug 2025
We had an amazing time with Woody! He’s super enthusiastic and really knows his stuff about the tour. The 3-hour tour flew by because it was so much fun and delicious. My family and I had a blast, especially with all the yummy chocolate and food tastings. But the Mexican Hot Tablilla “chocolate” drink was our favorite! Overall, it was a great tour and Woody was an incredible guide! Also, thank you Woody for special chocolate candy treat.

Fantastic!

Kristi_T, Aug 2025
We had such a great time with Ben. He was knowledgeable not only about chocolate but also the history of Seattle and Pike Place Market. Ben engaged my kids and was incredibly personable. I would highly recommend.

Delicious tour!

Louise_L, Aug 2025
Ivy was a very knowledgeable and gracious guide who selected a delectable assortment of chocolate treats for the group to try. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Don’t be put off by the price of the tour, it is justified by the high prices for food in Seattle.

Sweet.

Sarah_C, Aug 2025
Ivy was a great tour guide. She took time to explain everything and was very kind. The stops along the way were also very good. It was great to have a guide through pikes market and to try so many treats.

Not worth the money.

Donna_C, Aug 2025
Not happy with tour guide, don’t know name due to not introducing herself. We did a lot of walking for not much output of chocolate. Only stepped into one establishment in pike place, while we were asked to wait outside at others. Last stop wasn’t even open so had to leave tour due to time scheduling with another tour. Definitely not worth the money or time.

Ivy was an incredible, kind, knowledgeable, and considerate guide. She clearly knows and cares a lot lot about seattle, pike place market, and of course chocolate. Adults and kids alike were delighted start to finish. Perfect balance of walking and enjoying the treats. Great balance and mix of different styles, and no one was overstuffed at the end.

Great time

Awesome experience. Jade did an amazing job and really knows her stuff. Lots of chocolate to taste and she was super friendly.

Seattle Chocolate Sampling.

Jeff_P, July 2025
Very nice walking tour in the market area hitting some unique spots for chocolate and other delights. Our tour guide Ivy was very knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable. Went after the tour to buy some chocolates.

Worth it!

Melissa_T, July 2025
There was a large variety of yummy chocolate treats to try on this tour. Our guide Ben was very personable and offered a lot of interesting history about Seattle (and chocolate).

Tiffany_M, June 2025
I expected more actual chocolate tastings from places that made it. There were 2 hot chocolate tastings. I think one would have been sufficient. I also didn’t expect to go to a store and buy premade chocolate bars. I could have done that myself.

Fun time

Teri_H, June 2025
Had a nice time with friends. Guide and other participants were fun to hang out with. Lots of chocolate!

Chocolate Tour

Keith_H, June 2025
A chance to taste different types of chocolates from the usual big name candy bars. The guides went out of their to pick destinations to meet everyone’s taste desires.

Don’t miss this chocolate tour!!
