Departure Point: Pier 39, Gate J, San Francisco 94133 Directions: Stand on the sidewalk facing the water. Enter main P39 entrance, then out left between shops to the water (towards GG Bridge). Gate J is located right next to the sea lion viewing area (ask someone where are sea lions are if lost).

Enjoy a San Francisco catamaran tour during the peaceful evening hours on this sunset cruise, when the City by the Bay will dazzle you with its famous views and sights.
Board your 55- or 65-foot (17- or 20-meter) Adventure Cat on the Embarcadero, and take off across the water. Look for sea lions and other marine life as you head out into the bay, and settle yourself either inside the protected area with 360-degree views or on the canvas trampoline where you can truly experience the wind and salty air of the Pacific (bring layers!).
Take in the beauty as your captain takes you past the historical island prison of Alcatraz and on to the Golden Gate Bridge, and enjoy a drink on board. Look up at the towering bridge as you sail underneath it, and admire the waterfront hamlet of Sausalito, just on the north side.
Your cruise ends when you return to the marina, from where you can continue your night out in San Francisco on your own.

It was a wonderful experience and the crew is very helpful. Bring a jacket because it gets cold, even in late Spring. If you forget, the crew keep a supply. Arrive early, the boat leave exactly on time and it starts boarding about 10 - 15 minutes before departure. If you arrive at departure time, you will miss the trip. It can be hard to locate, as there is only a tiny sign above a gate that leads out to the dock where the boat is located. No large sign, no store front.

It was very cold i took the 7:00 pm slot. We went to the bridge and under it as well as around Alcatraz. It was foggy so no sun set but it was still cool.

This boat ride was awesome!! The crew was super friendly, the ride was so much fun and just the right length. Incredible views. I even got to help raise the sail and steer the boat since there weren’t too many people on board. Highly recommend!!

The cruise around the bay was great and a wonderful way to take in the beauty of the Golden Gate Bridge up close. The staff was friendly and helpful. Bring a jacket! If you forget, they have warm jackets on board for everyone which was a nice touch. I highly recommend this cruise.

What an experience. I highly recommend. The sunset was gorgeous, the sail was flawless and the crew are amazing and very helpful! What a way to see San Francisco from the water. The best part is going under Golden Gate Bridge at Sunset!! The bridge is so beautiful!! I definitely feel like I checked one off my bucket list with this sail!! Just wow!!!!!

My first viator trip- and it was great! Sailing under the bridge and watching the sunset, as well as seeing a ton of other sailboats, wind surfers, and what I thought was a sea lion! It was quite chilly, but the boat had coats for everyone who wanted one. Thanks for a great experience!

My husband and I live locally but wanted to do a sunset cruise. We had an amazing time from beginning to end. We took off right on time and we volunteered to help put up the sail. The weather was perfect that evening. Minutes after taking off we say a whale! The views of SF, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Bay Bridge, and some of Marin were spectacular! The crew was very attentive, knowledgeable, and fun. I highly recommend this catamaran cruise on a warmer day! Bring a jacket because it gets very cold as you get further into the Bay.

What a wonderful way to end a day of sightseeing. We were blessed with wonderful weather. It was not too windy, so I was very comfortable in my jacket. The company does have jackets available to wear if you are cold.
The crew was great and very friendly.
We opted to let the younger guests help with the raising of the sails. LOL
I highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I went on this sailboat excursion while visiting San Francisco because we always like to see cities from the water and it was such a perfect evening. It was very relaxing and chill.
