Even in bad weather this was a worthwhile tour. The trolley has heat and blankets if necessary. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Lighthouse was very picturesque. I would definitely recommend.
Barry was a great guide. the trip around town offered more than I expected and enriched the portland experience.
It was good. I learned a lot about Portland that I would not have known otherwise. The lighthouse visit was the best, and worth the whole tour!
Despite the fact that we missed our tour time, the company quickly set us up with another tour in the next half hour. We really want to thank Matt for his effort on giving us a very enjoyable tour in portland. Our guide was fantastic.

My family and I had a great experience! Our guide was informative and even recommended some places to dine at as we toured Portland. We also had a short 20-minute excursion at the park where we saw the lighthouse and watched the waves crash on the bluffs. If you're touring in the fall, I recommend wearing layers in case it gets chilly. This is a nice and easygoing experience for tourists and travelers.

We had a wonderful experience on the Portland Discovery Trolley Tour! Wendy Lee was fabulous as our trolley driver and narrator. She truly brought the city to life with fascinating stories that highlighted both its history and its present-day character.
Wendy’s stories about Portland’s many fires were especially captivating. She helped us imagine the devastation that residents and merchants must have experienced, followed by the incredible determination and resilience of the community as they rebuilt the city time and time again. She also pointed out the historic buildings that survived the fires and shared interesting details about their architecture and significance.
Wendy was an absolute delight and made the tour both entertaining and informative. I would strongly recommend the Trolley Lighthouse Tour, especially if you are fortunate enough to have Wendy Lee as your driver and narrator.

Overpriced. The one lighthouse we saw wasn’t opened & we literally had 20 mins to take pics. It’s basically a drive-by of houses. Too overpriced for what you received. Parking was $43 on top of the trolly price. We could have driven past homes ourselves. Don’t recommend

The driver was knowledgeable and funny!! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The terribly expensive parking was an unpleasant surprise!!!

What is described as a land and sea package is really 2 different packages. I don’t think the trolley package is worth $61 per person. You really don’t get a good view of landmarks and you get much time at the 1 lighthouse you stop at. The sea package was much better. But again you are paying for another package for that.

I highly recommend this tour. Steve was our guide and driver and was fantastic with his information, knowledge of Portland and awesome humor. You will remember his stories. The tour concludes with a visit to the Portland Head Light (lighthouse).
