We did a small group, only 12 of us, and we really liked that. The driver was very knowledgeable about both venues. Gave us plenty of time to look around. Be aware that it is almost impossible to get a picture of the Light house without people in the photo.

Private is BEST!

Our driver, Tek, was very attentive and flexible to our preferences. For example, we wanted a little extra time in Peggy’s Cove and no visit to the cemetery. We wanted to stop at a post office to mail postcards and he made that happen. He was informative and personable. We enjoyed our time!

Loved it!

Guides were great, length was perfect and process was organized! I recommend especially if you have a short period of time to enjoy the area. We were on a cruise and it worked out perfectly. A doable walk to the meeting place and less expensive than booking through the cruise line.

Spectacular Coastline and Beautiful Towns

This trip was a wonderful way to see some of Nova Scotia's spectacular coastline and beautiful towns within easy reach of Halifax. There were only 4 of us booked on this trip, making it friendly and intimate. As well as a scenic drive in the comfort of a small SUV, we had plenty of time to explore Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, and Wolfville. Our guide, Ian, was very knowledgeable and interesting, as well as being a good driver, and his commentary added significantly to our enjoyment of the day. Although it was a long day, there was plenty of time to relax in the car. I would definitely recommend this company and this itinerary.

Halifax with Anant September 27,2027

A wow! experience with our driver/guide Anant in Halifax. Anant picked us up at the cruise terminal and showed us around the city on a drizzly morning. We went to see the explosion site, the Titanic burial site and the Citadel. As the weather started to get better, Anant took us to the beautiful secluded village of Terence Bay. Very peaceful. We stopped for a quick lunch at Peggy,s cove food factory. The Donair, Haddock burger & fish & chips were outstanding. Peggy's cove itself was amazing and not very crowded. Anant guided our group safely over the rocks for the best views of the cove & lighthouse. One of our group had mobility issues & Anant was sensitive & very accommodating to our needs. We also learned alot enroute about the history of the area and also about the Titanic, the SS Atlantic shipwreck and the Swissair crash. We were very fortunate to have such a great driver/guide in Anant!

Our tour guide was excellent! She talked at great length regarding the history of Peggy's Cove & Luxenburg. She informed us of the Titanic & the explosions in Peggy's Cove & how the fishermen helpd during that tragic time. She was upbeat & definately knew her history. As a resident, she was proud of her heritage & enthusiastic in her presentation.

Quick trip to Peggy’s Cove

The trip to Peggy‘s Cove with Jay was very enjoyable. We saw beautiful coastline and learned a great deal about Nova Scotia and the area. Jay was informative and gave us suggestions as to where we might enjoy a lobster roll. We were allowed one hour and 45 minutes at Peggy’s Cove and that was long enough. This short tour is ideal when you are coming off the cruise ship and don’t want to spend the whole day touring the area. In total, it was about four hours.

Great experience!

Wonderful sunset cruise with a great musician and it was not overcrowded. There are drinks to purchase onboard. Definitely bring layers to wear as it does get colder out in the water (September)....I was thankful to have a hat and gloves too. No issues with seasickness at all. A lovely ship and great time!

A great day trip from Halifax!

A great day trip from Halifax to explore two beautiful towns in Nova Scotia! Starting in Lunenburg, we got just enough time to explore the local shops, cafes, art galleries and much more. Onto Peggy's Cove, breathe in the salty ocean air and enjoy a sweet treat. Our tour guide Nilah was so friendly, welcoming and shared so many facts about Nova Scotia. She took us through smaller towns to ensure we got the a more localized experience. Highly recommend if you're not renting a car during your visit.

A great wine tasting experience

Great experience. It was a small group of 12. Terri, our driver/tour guide was excellent, very accommodating. She told us about the history of the area and the history of the wine industry on our 45 minute drive across Nova Scotia to the wineries. We had wine tastings at three wineries. Our lunch at Luckett winery was very good. I would highly recommend this tour.
