Our guide Eric was very knowledgeable of the area and knew the best local places to eat. We had spanakopita, bagels and cream cheese, Korean ice cream, meat sandwiches, poutine, and gnocchi with spicy sauce. Everything was delicious and authentic. I would recommend this tour and guide to anyone.

The ride to and from Quebec City is pleasant. I wished we had received a little more information from the guide, but they did a good job as a tour host. Quebec City is glorious! Fun Historical Tour

This tour was a great way to learn about the history of Montreal. We went to many places with great views of the area. Rodrigo was very knowledgeable on many aspects of the history, people, and architecture. Since the group was small (< 10), he was able to speak personally with each person as we walked. I also liked that we received a good list of sites to visit at the end of the tour. I recommend doing the tour early in your trip.

Wonderful way to see...

Wonderful way to see literally ALL of Montreal is you are pressed on time. We had Fran as a tour guide and we were a group of 6. She was so kind, professional and efficient. Getting picked up and dropped off at our hotel was a game changer we didn’t have to worry about getting around the city. She drove us through all the local streets and made the important touristy spots. We got the try bagels and a maple pie, so yummy! I will say the tour is information overload! So if you’re a history nerd you will love it! 7 hours is a long time so get some sleep you’re in for a long but informative day! Thank you again Fran!

Worth every penny!

Kian was amazing! You can tell he really loves living in Montreal and wants you to love it too. He took us to a lot of amazing sites that I doubt we would have even thought about going to without this tour. Not only did he take us to these places, he provided advice about how to take the best pics possible of said sites! Even though the streets of Montreal are typical city chaos, also did a great job driving while simultaneously giving us a detailed and enthusiastic history of what we were driving past. It was a great day and money well spent!

A brilliant introduction to Montréal by a guide whose love for his home city shines through

Owing to a flight cancellation, I ended up with a morning in Montréal. Rather than hang out at the airport and be grumpy about my cancelled flight I jumped in a Uber and booked myself on this two hour walking tour. Our guide, Luc, has a passion for the city, It’s people, its architecture, history and food. To me it was a brilliant introduction to the city and I hope to return again one day. For anyone visiting Montréal for the first time I strongly recommend you do this tour early on because it gives you a really good idea of places and activities that you might want to follow up on for the rest of your day. At the end of the tour, Luc even helped me find a taxi back to the airport. Huge thanks. I’ll be back one day.

It is a long but interesting day. The guide was friendly. We stopped for coffee on the 3-hour drive to Montmorency Falls, which was appreciated. Because it was shoulder season we didn’t see the ice hotel or have the opportunity to take the river cruise, so it felt like basically a trip to the falls then a 50-minute tour of lower old Quebec City, then four hours of free time. I would’ve given it four stars, but my husband loved it and asked to give it five. Overall it’s good value for the long drive and day. I would recommend this tour.

Delicious Foods of Montreal

Depending on the weather, be sure to bring an extra jacket in case because it was quite chilly in Montreal when I did the walking tour with the guide and the other participants. Darren was very funny and witty with making his audience laugh from joking and teasing as well as very well knowledgeable in the history of Montreal for the inhabitants and the buildings. The food was quite delicious, the only issue I had was that I was still hungry afterwards despite trying multiple food items listed in the description. Perhaps the portions for the food weren't large enough, but overall quite delicious and worth the money for the food tour itself. Great way to meet new people and learn more about the city of Montreal itself.

Highly recommended! We absolutely loved our bike tour. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the receptionist and then met our guide, Martin, and our fellow riders. The adventure began weaving through charming back-alley gardens and older neighborhoods where we discovered hidden, beautiful gardens — a wonderful tradition still kept alive. The tour continued through scenic parks and notable Montreal landmarks, including McGill University’s beautiful downtown campus, nestled at the base of Mount Royal with its grand architecture and lively student atmosphere. We also rode past the Bell Centre, home of the legendary Montreal Canadiens, before heading toward the Olympic Stadium, parts of Old Montreal, and other cultural highlights. Along the way, Martin shared fascinating stories about the city’s history and character, making every stop meaningful. We finished in the city’s newest districts, exploring the chic multi-unit complexes lining the canal. Martin was exceptional — knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate — making the entire experience truly unforgettable. The touring bikes were also very comfortable, adding to the enjoyment. Thank you for such a memorable morning and afternoon!

Wonderful day.

It was wonderful. Our tour guide William was great and spoke to ALL of the people on the bus in their respective language including English, French and Spanish. We did the cruise which I’m not sure we would do again as it cut into our city touring - but we enjoyed that too. If you’re not a walker this trip might not be for you. We saw a lot of older folks struggling a bit. Lots of cobblestones and hills. But it was BEAUTIFUL. It was a long day but so worth it.
