You Gotta Do This Tour!
What an amazing experience! Our guide, Larry, was informative, funny, answered everyone's questions, and he set a good pace so that we could see everything, get our photos. Learning about the history of Harlem from someone who lives there and is so obviously in love with his neighborhood was such a treat. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Excellent tour and guide...very informative.
Be prepared for a lot of walking on this one, but you will learn what it was LIKE in Harlem during the Renaissance, and even before and after. Our tour guide was AMAZING...she was an older lady, but could out walk us all! It does go over the 3 hours listed (at least ours did), but it was so interesting. You'll come away wanting to learn more on your own as well.

Beautiful And Diverse Harlem
The history of Harlem is diverse, having housed many cultures. It has more to offer than some may realize, and our guide, Carolyn, a native Harlemite, knows some hidden histories about this area. She was friendly and easy to talk with. I am a New Yorker who has lived here for many years, and I thought my sister from Ohio would enjoy the tour. We both had a great time!

Best Tour during NYC trip!
Very informative, Tour guide Jorge was funny. Loved hopping off and on. Was able to get some amazing pictures. Wished we were able to make a stop in Harlem, but were unable to, due to renovations of the Apollo theater. Also extended time at Coney Island was needed, an hour wasn’t enough with the walking distance and wait time of restaurants. An hour and 45 minutes would be great. However, it was the best tour during my time in NYC.
