Birthday celebrations with family after sunset. Got to see a side of the city you don’t see on foot. Really pretty it’s all the lights from the bridges and the streets, bars and houses. Knowledgeable staff and super friendly. Lovely little boat, cost and welcoming.

Hungry tummies are a must on this trip.

Wear comfortable shoes and have an empty stomach! Cobblestone streets and great food. We went to several local restaurants and stands that were all good to great. Several places have an interesting history with our guide and shop owners providing as much detail as you need without over doing it. He was very mindful of the group making sure to not leave people behind. We had cheese, two types of fish, local beers and drinks, with a great dessert at the end. Ready to do it again!

If you want to see a little bit of the country side and get out of the city, this tour is for you! We absolutely LOVED Claudia our tour guide and everything she taught us! This was the neatest village- the cheese was incredible- you will taste 40 kinds and we brought home plenty to the states! The clog workshop demo was super neat to see and the village was very cute and quaint! We also enjoyed the windmill - don’t forget to go inside and up top to view it! I had no idea just how much they truly utilize this to make so many things and we brought home lots of the foods that they make with it! Just wish we could’ve stayed longer! Get the hot cocoa- it’s amazing!

We had a fantastic canal cruise in Amsterdam on Tuesday, 15 September 2026. It was one of the highlights of our trip and definitely one of the best experiences we had in Amsterdam. Our lady captain was absolutely fantastic — very friendly, professional and cool. She had a beautiful English accent and gave us lots of interesting information about Amsterdam’s history, as well as recent events and interesting places and venues around the city. We really enjoyed every minute of the cruise and would definitely recommend this tour to our family and friends. A big thank you to the captain and the Viator team for such a wonderful experience! 🚤🇳🇱❤️

Great time, very casual, good accommodations.

Great relaxing cruise. Super friendly and accommodating crew. The captain was a great host and a very smooth operator. You could tell he has had time on the water. Cruise itinerary was cool, saw lots of neat stuff. Plenty of ash trays. Cold drinks served, light music between information and landmarks. Top notch would definitely do again and recommend.

Learned a lot and had fun!!

We took an evening boat tour and it was lovely! Our captain and guide, Nunzio, was a fantastic storyteller and made the tour all the more fun. We got to see the two smallest houses in Amsterdam and learned a lot about the city design and architecture. There were drinks for sale, which we didn’t have, but I appreciated the option - beer, wine, soda, and water. It was very hot on the day we took our tour so it was a bit uncomfortable for the first 15-20 min until the sun went down a bit. The boat provides some umbrellas for shade which was a nice touch.
