Wonderful Experience!

Marc was phenomenal! Informative and entertaining. He got us out of the touristy area and into places we would never have found on our own. The meal we had for lunch was delicious. I have never liked mussels until I had them on this tour! His advice for which chocolate shops to go to was very appreciated. I highly recommend this tour!

A great way to see Brussels in short amount of time

We had a fantastic evening with Charles. This tour gave you a great overview of Brussels, including its history and its food. The places that Charles took us to were great. No need to eat before the tour. You could tell that Charles really enjoyed his job. This is one of the best tours we’ve done in any country. I highly recommend.

A great way to see Brussels and indulge

This tour was Excellent! We walk around Brussels, went to 3 different chocolate shops and 3 different bars. The variety of chocolate and beer was great. The star of the tour was our guide, Stephanie. She was very knowledgeable, funny and made the tour one of the best we had on our travels. She shared a lot of information about the city history and culture. She told us many details about the chocolates and beers. We all felt like friends at the end on the tour.

Great time making chocolate

The tour was a little bit, not far outside of the main area of Brussels. I have checking in and getting the group together. There were a lot of steps to get up to the chocolate workshop. The workshop was excellent. We learned a lot we made a bunch of chocolate. The woman that owns the chocolate chop explained how her trouble is made and how pure it is. It was well with the ticket. We are so glad we took in this experience.

Great day, but remember it is a FULL day, Visits to Atonium, and then off to Ghent and Antwerp were perfect. The guide (George) was knowledgeable and knew how to be informative without being boring. He knew how to balance the tour time pointing out attractions and explaining how to visit and spent the free time exploring what YOU were interested in. Overall a great day!

Great tour!

Such a great tour! Definitely recommend! I was debating this or the one that’s double the price and time and honestly I’m so glad we did this. We saw all the major sites, learned about the city and food culture and got to taste lots of beer, chocolate, and waffles! Clemens gave us a very good overview of the History of both Belgium and Brussels. The architecture of Brussels is amazing and his ability to point out the unique characteristics was very interesting. The tour itself was about...

The tour itself was about 2 hours long with our guide Julien who was very knowledgeable and friendly. We then had about 4 hours of free time to ourselves which was the main reason I chose this tour over others. We were able to hit all the spots we wanted to go to before meeting back at the bus. A friend of mine described Bruges as the Disneyland of Europe and I’d say I’d agree. It is VERY crowded and things are more expensive than Brussels so keep that in mind for what you plan to do. We did not do the boat ride but others in our group did and seemed to have enjoyed it.

Exploring Brussels with Wonderful Patrick

We had the most wonderful afternoon exploring the ins and outs of Brussels with Patrick. He is so friendly and knowledgeable, we talked non-stop finding so many cultural and unique commonalities. He knows Brussels intimately, including history and stories about all the major sites, while providing insights about intriguing off the beaten path locales, restaurants, shops and nightlife. We explored cathedrals, museums, parks, side streets and chocolate shops, while joining a street party celebrating the Mustache Men and Mannequin Pis. It was a delightful experience and highlight of our Brussels experience.

Weekend kick off

Location easy to find. The set up was done in advance and had everything needed. We learned about three types of beer with healthy pours then proceeded to make our own waffle batter with a beer of our choice (an ingredient). Our group was a lot of fun… Australia, Germany, Japan, Italy, USA… the waffles were delicious and plentiful. A perfect way to kick off a weekend in Brussels.

I had a wonderful time at...

I had a wonderful time at the waffle workshop! It was both fun and delicious, and they even let us take home everything we baked. We started by learning about the history of waffles, then went through the ingredients and the cooking steps before baking together. On the table, there was a great variety of toppings to choose from — banana, chocolate, honey, peanut butter, cream, and different kinds of jam. Our instructor, Chau, was very kind and friendly. She even gave me a special gluten-free recipe and helpful tips on how to make it work at home. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn, bake, and enjoy amazing waffles!

Great tour in Brussels. Lots of food!

We had a great time and the food was excellent! Dani was a fantastic guide. She filled us in with background information about the food and the places we visited. There were only 3 of us, so it was a nice group to just sit and chat over our lambic beers! Every stop was great and Dani also gave us recommendations for places to go on our own. We are going back to a few places before we leave town because they were sooo good! I highly recommend this tour!
