Exceptional Tour
This tour was fantastic from start to finish. The moment our bus pulled away, we knew we were in good hands — the ride was comfortable, spacious, and very accommodating. As we traveled, our guide shared fascinating details about the dams and landscapes we passed, making the journey itself part of the experience. We made several stops, each one absolutely worth it. The cheese factory was a highlight, especially the tasting room — delicious and fun. The windmills were breathtaking, truly one of the most beautiful sights you’ll ever see. Along the way, there were plenty of gift shops and food options, so you’re never without something to explore. A quick tip: wear comfortable shoes. You’ll walk quite a bit, but honestly, you’ll be so captivated by the scenery that you won’t even notice. We traveled as a family of four, ages ranging from 20 to 80, and the tour was wonderfully accommodating for everyone. I want to give a special thanks to our tour guide for making the day memorable, informative, and seamless.

Highly recommended tour
The trip was amazing - the villages were beautiful and we enjoyed the experience of both villages. Our guide, Said, was one of the best we’ve had on a trip - he was very knowledgeable and shared his knowledge in a fun way which made you listen and not get bogged down by just too much talking- he made our trip.

Enrich your knowledge of Amsterdam
Good look at many aspects of Amsterdam and the history that makes it what it is today. Fernando did an excellent job of highlighting many facets of contemporary Amsterdam by explaining what we saw. He supplemented his tour with photos to illustrate his points. Very glad we took this tour

Old Holland
Worked out well. Good way to see a period village with windmills. The cheese production was informative. The demonstration of making wooden shoes was good. Understanding the levies was good. Yes a bit touristy but provides you what things were like with the wooden windmills, levies, cheese factories, milling and so on.

Amsterdam is a fantastic base for exploring not only the Netherlands but also neighboring Belgium, as both UNESCO World Heritage-listed Bruges and the capital, Brussels, are easy Amsterdam day trips. Other great day trip options highlight Dutch country classics, from Keukenhof tulips to Zaanse Schans windmills via dams, dykes, cheesemakers, and clog factories. Try porcelain-making Delft, cosmopolitan The Hague, or Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ second city for a more urban day out. Whether your tastes run to food or culture, nature or history, there’s an Amsterdam day trip with your name on it.
