An impressive Highlands and islands experience.

We loved this tour of the Highlands and Skye - well organised to see as many highlights of Scotland as possible. Our driver/guide, Scott D. , was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable and made the trip an absolute pleasure. The bus was comfortable and always ran to schedule, the itinerary well planned but with enough flexibility for Scott to add in a few surprises especially tailored to the group. Wear comfortable shoes. Bring a light rain coat and jacket. The cruise could be cancelled at the last minute for various reasons. We were 1 hour from where the cruise is located and our guide was notified to turn around before we got caught up in traffic because there was a terrible wreck ahead. It took hours to open the road so we ate lunch and came back to Edinburgh. Rabbie immediately put in for reimbursement for the cancelled cruise. Barbara, our tour guide and driver was excellent! She was very knowledgeable of the excursion and kept us entertained with great information throughout the trip.

James is the BEST!

James was an absolutely fantastic tour guide. You can just tell immediately how passionate he is about history because his thorough explanations and extremely entertaining way of doing so can make even the most disinterested person laugh and be fully immersed in his stories. I wish he was my history teacher growing up because he was both informative while also being wildly entertaining! i would highly recommend him and the rest of his group for the tours that they do, they allowed me and my girlfriend to have a wonderful and educational time at the castle!

We did the Highlands, Loch Ness, and Pitlochry tour, and our tour guide, Paul S, was absolutely phenomenal! He was incredibly friendly, funny, and made the entire day enjoyable from start to finish. Paul’s knowledge of Scottish history, culture, and traditions was outstanding. I especially appreciated how he shared fascinating historical facts throughout the journey—I learned so much about Scotland. To top it all off, his music playlist was fantastic and really added to the experience. If you’re booking this tour, I sincerely hope you get Paul S as your guide. This tour was excellent...

This tour was excellent from start to finish. We were greeted with enthusiasm at the pickup site. Neil was the perfect tour guide with an incredible blend of charisma, knowledge, humor and a fantastic playlist! Stops were timed well for bathroom and meal/snack breaks and the highlands were breathtaking. We opted to book the additional cruise on Loch Ness, which was enjoyable, even without spotting Nessie! The tour was the highlight of our trip for all 4 adults and kids ages 10-13. I would definitely recommend booking and hope you get Neil as your guide!

Attention Potterphiles!

Great for Potterphiles and a nice introduction to Edinburgh city center. We went as a family and had a great time. Our guide Harrison was engaging. Really helpful with giving the Tips on more of Edinburgh. We enjoyed getting sorted via the sorting hats and having trivia questions throughout the tour. You could really tell the hard core Potter fans from the rest!

Very good, but don’t expect a steam engine!

Tom was a very knowledgeable and funny driver. Due to accidents, we had to avoid certain areas and roads and even missed out on one of our stops. But Tom quickly redirected us somewhere else and we still had a good time. Great job! FYI, if you are looking for a steam engine for the Harry Potter train, they had to switch to a diesel engine.

St Andrew’s visit

You only have 2 hours and 45 minutes in St. Andrews. You also stop at a fishing town and a town from Outlander(which we have never seen).We would have preferred another hour in St. Andrews and skip the fishing town. Otherwise a very good trip. You are on your own in St. Andrews. We visited the remains of the cathedral and the rest of the time at the Old Course. It was a Sunday, so we were able to walk the course and take lots of pictures. The beach there also was quite pretty.
