What are people saying about Warsaw

Definitely worth it!
Anna, the guide, was fantastic. She was very informative not only about Treblinka but also about Poland. She was very accommodating during the car ride and had a very well informed colleague meet us at Wolf's Lair for the tour there. I would recommend the tour to anyone.

This a very well...
This a very well organised trip. A very long day but faultless. Communication before the trip - amazing. Taxi to and from the initial train station- excellent. They waited til the train left and there to greet at the platform on the return! The minibus driver and tour of Autschwitz - excellent. Not lots of time in Krakow but enough to see a few sites and grab a meal. Highly recommend this trip.

This was one of the best...
This was one of the best tours I’ve ever taken. Martin was awsome. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and great to be around. He made the drive both there and back fly by. The tour was so interesting and the lunch was awsome. Cannot recommend this enough.

Excellent tour with Jakob
Jakob took us on the retro fiat tour of Warsaw. Jakob is amazing, so kind and so knowledgeable about the history of Warsaw and Polish history. He brought us to 4 points of interest and walked us through the history of Warsaw which is far more colourful and interesting than we had thought. Jakob arrived at our hotel to collect us and immediately we felt at ease with how pleasant he is, taking photos of us with the 1982 car! First stop we arrived at old town where we walked through the city walls where Jakob explained the history behind paving stones to building facades and the incredible architecture of the city. It is a sad fact that city was decimated in WW2, it was so interesting to hear how the city planners and architects rebuilt the city based on original plans of how the buildings stood and reconstructed precisely. From there we went to new town where we Jakob explained the history of the area and brought to life the markets that once existed. We loved that Jakob tailored our tour. The traffic was very heavy, it being Christmastime and a number of roads were closed due to roadworks so Jakob suggested a change of tour to avoid sitting in traffic for an hour. Which we were very happy about, who wants to sit in traffic! We then visited the Palace of Culture & Science where Jakob explained to us the history of this building, good and bad. We look at this impressive building whilst passing by but we don’t understand the cultural impact without context. Jakob explained how the Soviets ‘gifted’ this building to Warsaw and how the locals felt at a time of rebuilding from the war to modern day. From there we went to the MDM neighbourhood built in communist 1950s. Jakob showed us all of these amazing architecture features that people blindly walk past everyday. The history behind the stone carvings and ceiling mosaics are so interesting. We would have never known any of this history if not for this tour and we wondered if locals know these exist. We then headed to the royal gardens which are stunningly calm and wonderful. We arrived in the evening when it was very dark. However we were glad to visit with Jakob to hear the history of the kings summer houses and the amphitheater and today we can visit in the daylight. I will say the pictures at night are stunning. We get the best of both worlds. Overall this was by far the best city tour we’ve been on in a long time. Friendly, interesting with lots of unique history you just wouldn’t know about otherwise!! Highly recommend! I don’t know if you can select tour guide but if you can select Jakob he is absolutely wonderful 10/10!!

Meaningful tour in an intense location
This tour was incredibly meaningful. The tour guide, Marcin, was amazingly knowledgeable. He provided details about not only Treblinka but Poland more broadly. He also went above and beyond helping me search out specific areas of the camp and even visiting a local town where family members once lived. Highly recommend

Our guide was the best!...
Our guide was the best! Polite and friendly. In depth knowledge of the history of Warsaw, the country itself and the areas beyond its borders. He gave advice on books that might be helpful for further understanding of Warsaw’s history. Highly recommend.

Daria was an AMAZING host!
We had a single night in Warsaw after a few days in Krakow. This seemed different and thought it would be awesome to bring a skill home as a souvenir.
Directions were perfectly clear and we started promptly on time. The class size was good really good. I think it was scheduled for 10; but ended up being 8.
Daria did a short icebreaker then provided instructions on what to expect. She guided us through the process explaining the different types of fillings and techniques to make pierogi. She then demonstrated and coached us through as we followed. Once they were assembled she showed us how to prepare them. Once they were done she served us family style with the rest of the group. She also played a little guiding game with two liquors:)
The best part was the family style atmosphere. We were blessed to run into some other travelers who were going to visit Krakow. To us it felt like a family meal with some strangers from the other side of the world. So cool!
I highly recommend.

Fun family cycle around Warsaw
We’ve done a walking tour in Warsaw years ago but the cycle tour with Marcin was much better. On bike you can cover a much larger area so you can get a fuller history of the city, and it’s more fun riding around a beautiful city. Marcin was an excellent guide, very passionate about his city and his country. It’s a great way to spend 3 hours 😊

Highly recommended
Chris did a great job of helping us understand more about the old quarter, the Jewish ghetto and the beautiful Warsaw Park that we visited. Some walking, but mostly getting us around from these three areas quite distant from one another and the mini bus was very comfortable. Highly recommended and Chris was up to the task of answering all of our questions.

Most fun we’ve had in Warsaw!
We had an amazing time riding the streets of Warsaw on the Segway. It was super easy to learn, my 10 year old son fell in love it and thought this was the greatest experience he’s had in Warsaw! Our guide Nikita was very knowledgeable and chattered well to the audience, taking into consideration our wishes and interests!

My first ever pub crawl...
My first ever pub crawl in Warsaw was an unforgettable night—full of energy, laughter, and just the right amount of chaos. The city’s nightlife had a contagious pulse, but what truly made the experience stand out was our guide, Paulina. From the moment we met, she was warm, funny, and effortlessly welcoming. It’s not easy to make a group of strangers feel like friends, but she pulled it off with charm and ease. Her energy set the tone for the whole night, and honestly, she was the highlight of my evening. If you ever get the chance to join a crawl she leads—don’t hesitate. You’re in for a brilliant time!

Very moving experience and well organized
It was a very moving museum and experience. I’m glad I made the day trip from Warsaw. I sincerely appreciated the communication and kindness from the driver who met me as communicated at the platform in Krakow. I also appreciated some of the time that was allotted before and after the museum visit to explore Krakow for a bit. The driver made it a smooth and easy process and for that, I’m grateful. Highly recommend!
