What are people saying about Warsaw

Definitely worth it!
Anna, the guide, was fantastic. She was very informative not only about Treblinka but also about Poland. She was very accommodating during the car ride and had a very well informed colleague meet us at Wolf's Lair for the tour there. I would recommend the tour to anyone.

This a very well...
This a very well organised trip. A very long day but faultless. Communication before the trip - amazing. Taxi to and from the initial train station- excellent. They waited til the train left and there to greet at the platform on the return! The minibus driver and tour of Autschwitz - excellent. Not lots of time in Krakow but enough to see a few sites and grab a meal. Highly recommend this trip.

This was one of the best...
This was one of the best tours I’ve ever taken. Martin was awsome. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and great to be around. He made the drive both there and back fly by. The tour was so interesting and the lunch was awsome. Cannot recommend this enough.

Excellent tour with Jakob
Jakob took us on the retro fiat tour of Warsaw. Jakob is amazing, so kind and so knowledgeable about the history of Warsaw and Polish history. He brought us to 4 points of interest and walked us through the history of Warsaw which is far more colourful and interesting than we had thought. Jakob arrived at our hotel to collect us and immediately we felt at ease with how pleasant he is, taking photos of us with the 1982 car! First stop we arrived at old town where we walked through the city walls where Jakob explained the history behind paving stones to building facades and the incredible architecture of the city. It is a sad fact that city was decimated in WW2, it was so interesting to hear how the city planners and architects rebuilt the city based on original plans of how the buildings stood and reconstructed precisely. From there we went to new town where we Jakob explained the history of the area and brought to life the markets that once existed. We loved that Jakob tailored our tour. The traffic was very heavy, it being Christmastime and a number of roads were closed due to roadworks so Jakob suggested a change of tour to avoid sitting in traffic for an hour. Which we were very happy about, who wants to sit in traffic! We then visited the Palace of Culture & Science where Jakob explained to us the history of this building, good and bad. We look at this impressive building whilst passing by but we don’t understand the cultural impact without context. Jakob explained how the Soviets ‘gifted’ this building to Warsaw and how the locals felt at a time of rebuilding from the war to modern day. From there we went to the MDM neighbourhood built in communist 1950s. Jakob showed us all of these amazing architecture features that people blindly walk past everyday. The history behind the stone carvings and ceiling mosaics are so interesting. We would have never known any of this history if not for this tour and we wondered if locals know these exist. We then headed to the royal gardens which are stunningly calm and wonderful. We arrived in the evening when it was very dark. However we were glad to visit with Jakob to hear the history of the kings summer houses and the amphitheater and today we can visit in the daylight. I will say the pictures at night are stunning. We get the best of both worlds. Overall this was by far the best city tour we’ve been on in a long time. Friendly, interesting with lots of unique history you just wouldn’t know about otherwise!! Highly recommend! I don’t know if you can select tour guide but if you can select Jakob he is absolutely wonderful 10/10!!
