The hot-air balloon flight takes place at sunrise or at sunset, depending on the weather. Departure from Warsaw at around 3am (for the sunrise flight) or at around 8am (for the sunset flight). The departure time will be confirmed 2-3 days before the tour. After 2-hour ride, you will get to the meeting point for the balloon flight in the Podlasie region, around 150 kilometres north-east of Warsaw. There, you will join your pilot and reach the place from which you will take off (it can be located up to 500 metres from the meeting point). Half-Day Warsaw City Sightseeing Bike Tour for Small Group

Enjoyable bike tour

I was in Warsaw for the EuroCrim academic conference and wanted to learn more about the city so I booked this bike tour. I would say the title 'half day tour' is misleading as it is only 2.5 hours, with 30 minutes break in the middle too. My guide was Marcin who is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the City of Warsaw. He took us on an 11 km ride around the city, stopping every 5-10 minutes for an explanation of the location. He provided a great balance of tragedy (Warsaw has endured a great deal) and hope as well as humour. I was asked to be the back-marker to ride behind everyone and although I did not mind doing this, Marcin is a fast rider and there were several slow riders in the group and so we became very spread out on a Saturday afternoon, meaning I got separated from the group a few times. Cycling on the roads and cyclepaths of Warsaw is not easy with so many pedestrians. I would recommend that everyone should wear a cycle helmet (provided but only if you ask). Thank you Marcin for a lovely few hours.

Great experience with Konrad...learned a lot and saw everything

Konrad was a great tour guide for our time in Warsaw. He picked us up from our hotel and spent three + hours with him as shared his wealth of information as well as the current situation in Poland from his perspective There were several stops and he kept ensuring the content and flow was good for us. He was also kind enough to drop us off at another location that we wanted to go to and adjusted our itinerary to end up at our desired location at the end of the tour.

A very special evening

This was amazing, I saw a few people wipe away a tear or two. There were only about 20 people in the room. You could hear a pin drop in between tunes. It was a pretty stunning performance, actually. A nice little touch of a glass of honey wine in the interval. It's around an hour duration, leaving you time to enjoy the Old Town afterwards.

A must do tour

This was one of the best day trips we’ve ever taken and an experience we’ll never forget. Everything was well organized, transportation was comfortable, and the schedule was executed flawlessly. We began the day in Kraków, which is an absolutely beautiful city filled with history, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture. We had enough free time to walk through the Old Town, enjoy a delicious meal, and soak in the atmosphere. I only wish we had more time because Kraków is a destination that deserves a visit of its own. From there, we traveled to Auschwitz-Birkenau. It was an incredibly moving and sobering experience—one that everyone should witness at least once. Walking through the grounds and learning about the events that took place there is something that will stay with us forever. Our guide was outstanding: knowledgeable, respectful, and compassionate, presenting the history with the dignity it deserves. A huge thank you to our driver and tour guide for making such a long day comfortable, informative, and seamless. Their professionalism and organization were exceptional from start to finish. If you’re visiting Poland and only have time for one day trip, this is the one to book. It’s a long day, but every moment is worth it.

Excellent Wolf's Lair and Treblinka Day Tour

Two essential WWII historical sights were the basis for this excellent full day tour. Anna, my wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable driver-guide, communicated very well before the tour so I knew exactly what to expect. She picked me up promptly at my hotel in Old Town Warsaw and told me so much about Treblinka during our drive there. Once we arrived she took me on a super good, informative and detailed tour of Treblinka. I knew very little about the history of the camp, so Anna taught me a lot. Touring Treblinka which, at that time, was the first concentration camp I had ever been to, was a powerful, moving experience. Anna then drove me to Hitler's Wolf's Lair which was creepy, disturbing, dark, fascinating, and essential viewing for anybody who is genuinely interested in WWII history. Anna had another guide who was an absolute expert in the history and background of the Wolf's Lair, and she walked me around the entire site for almost two hours. I learned a LOT. While I was aware of the assassination attempt against Hitler which happened here (see the Tom Cruise movie Valkyrie) they both filled me in on so much more. Well worth seeing. Anna was a terrific guide and driver. Highly recommended tour.

🇵🇱🥟 A Fun and Authentic Polish Cooking Experience

Taking this class was such a great experience, my first cooking class ever! I took it with my dad’s wife while on vacation in Poland, and we had an amazing time. Daria was fun, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing traditions and techniques passed down through generations. Plus, she could totally pass as Taylor Swift’s twin! 😂 I definitely need more practice with the dough (that’s on me!), but I was still proud to earn my certificate. Getting to enjoy all the delicious food we made afterward, along with some traditional liquor, made the experience even more special. Overall, I highly recommend this class and can’t wait to try making everything again when I get home! 🇵🇱🥟❤️

It is a 3-5 hour ride...

It is a 3-5 hour ride from Warsaw. There was construction and 3 accidents along our way there. Felt like forever in the van. Once there it was very rushed, busy, and a lot of walking including up and down many staircases. Alex our driver was excellent and would give him 5 stars for his stellar driving skills and his patience with the construction and accidents. He really helped the uncontrollable situation and made the journey enjoyable.

Interesting tour to Auschwitz/Birkenau

A very interesting tour to Auschwitz/ Birkenau and Krakow fron Warsaw. This is a good tour if you are based in Warsaw on limited time in Poland. It is a long day with a 05.30 train departure from Warsaw and returning approximately 23.00. You are required to make the train journeys yourself but easily done. The tour bus picks you up a short distance from the Krakow station entrance. The tour around Auschwitz/Birkenau is certainly a sobering experience well worth the visit. After the tour you head back to Krakow where you have time to view the Town Square area and enjoy a meal before heading back to the station for the train back to Warsaw.

Great Warsaw Tour and Excellent Customer Service!

Had a great experience with this Warsaw tour. I only had a few hours in the city, and this was exactly what I needed. The tour drove us around while we learned about Warsaw’s history, and we got off the coach at key spots for short walking visits. Perfect for anyone short on time but wanting to see and learn a lot. Also, I want to commend the company’s professionalism and ethics. There was a small pickup mix-up (no one’s fault), and I was worried I’d miss the tour. Instead, they quickly sent a van to get me and added me to the group, truly 5-star customer service. Great company, great people, great tour!
