Sandra was very knowledgeable about the paintings and history and brought the experience to life. She was great. The company does not allow use of their bathrooms before the tour, so be prepared. That is unfortunate on their part and would have shown a more accommodating approach to their tourists. There is a restroom in the Basilica at the end of the tour which you can use, but you need to speak up about using it.

City Wonders did a great job of showing us Murano and Burano. Elly, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the islands and history. She also gave suggestions of places to eat and explore, during our time on each island. The New Murano Glass factory had the most beautiful glass on display in their showroom, which you could buy or just admire. Burano, with it’s colorful houses, was a quaint and restful area to explore.

Great way to do it all in a day!

Doge palace even early is very busy. A skip the line tour is a must. Phillipe was very knowledgeable. I had some trouble hearing and understanding becauae of the general ambient noise. Stick to front of the group and you should be okay. The boat trip out was great just to get out of the city on a pretty day.

Great way to efficiently see 2 main sites in Venice, learn some history, and do it all in 2.5-3.0 hours

Tour guide (very nice lady) provided interesting insights without overwhelming the guests. Kept the tour moving, hitting the highlights, without overdoing it. My family was very happy with the tour. You could spend all day in these sites if you wanted, but for us, we just wanted to see the key items, take some photos, and move on. It was perfect for us.

Excellent tour of the Basilica and Doge’s Palace

Absolutely excellent despite the rainy weather. Our tour guide,Lucia, was amazing. She not only knows her world history and art history but has in-depth knowledge of Venetian history and culture. The gondola ride was nice but spoiled by the bad weather. We’d highly recommend this tour.
