What are people saying about Venice

Must Do!
We had the best time with Tommaso on our tour! I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Venice. You get to experience the real parts of the city with a unique local perspective. Tons of history and Tommaso was so knowledgeable and friendly.

Sandra was very...
Sandra was very knowledgeable about the paintings and history and brought the experience to life. She was great. The company does not allow use of their bathrooms before the tour, so be prepared. That is unfortunate on their part and would have shown a more accommodating approach to their tourists. There is a restroom in the Basilica at the end of the tour which you can use, but you need to speak up about using it.

Doges Palace and St Marks Basilica 3 hours
This was an amazing tour filled with fun facts and interesting history about Venice, the Palace and the Basilica. Three hours was a good amount of time to see and appreciate these important sights. Claire our guide had extensive knowledge that she shared with us in a very entertaining way. You could tell she was very passionate about Venice, I would heartily recommend her and this tour!

Murano and Burano, a must see when in Venice
City Wonders did a great job of showing us Murano and Burano. Elly, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the islands and history. She also gave suggestions of places to eat and explore, during our time on each island. The New Murano Glass factory had the most beautiful glass on display in their showroom, which you could buy or just admire. Burano, with it’s colorful houses, was a quaint and restful area to explore.

Venice is no ordinary place. Crisscrossed by canals and myriad alleyways, this lagoon city has many must-see sights, from the Doge’s Palace to the Grand Canal, from plates of cicchetti to gondola boats. With so many visitors who come to see them, you can easily get caught up in the crowds. However, fear not because there are Venice tours that help you bypass the lines, sightsee responsibly, and experience the beauty of the city, too. Guided walking tours give the history behind the photo points, skip-the-line tours cut waiting times at popular sites, and home-cooking classes offer a taste of the local culture.
