A Cannot Miss Tour!!
This is a great tour - pace is good - not rushed and our tour guide Eliza was the BEST!! So knowledgeable but also really relatable!! My 20 something kids loved her!!

Good for the price
Good price for the service. There is an assistant at the pier to direct you to which line you need to be in. There are two tour guides that give basic information such as when to be back to the boat. This is a very large tour and is not personalized in any way. It’s a good option to get to all of the islands without needing to figure out the public transportation system. You are on your own at each of the islands to do what you please. In Marano, they do organize a glass blowing demonstration.

The islands themselves...
The islands themselves are beautiful and easy to explore by walking. I missed out on most of the information from the guide: the sound system had so much static and with the guide’s accent I could understand only about every 3rd or 4th word.

Beautiful afternoon
Pierangelo has a beautiful boat and was super accommodating as we planned a day to Murano and burano for myself my parents and a friend. He had water on board, modified our pickup location and was very informative/conversational. He has lived in Venice his whole life and offers great perspective. It was a great afternoon. Highly recommend!!

  • Be sure to bring your camera to capture the picturesque glassblowing demonstrations on Murano and traditional lace-making on Burano.

  • Murano glass and Burano lace are famous for their impeccable quality—and prices reflect that. Be wary of glass or lace shops that advertise “bargain” prices, which often means low-quality goods imported from outside Italy.

  • Murano’s glass shops are known for their hard-sell techniques, so always book your Venice islands tour through a reputable company to avoid unpleasant strong-arming tactics.

  • The church at San Giorgio Maggiore is one of few churches you can visit for free in Venice; if you want to climb its bell tower you’ll have to pay €6.
